Hey, so I had a guess for Stan Baker's knack. I read a post that it had been used in Brothers Chosen, and I thought about how Dean had somehow managed to forget an entire being on his person. Who also might have been a threat to him. So does Stan have like a stealth ability to kinda make people forget he's there. Like how sometimes someone is so quiet that people forget they are there?
( @borrowedtimeandspace )
This is actually the closest guess to his actual knack that anyone's gotten, so we're gonna give it to you!
Attention Manipulation: The ability to psychically manipulate a human's attention.
Stan's knack works a bit similarly to John Winchester's, in that he is able to divert humans' attention from himself if he focuses on it. In the case of the scene you mentioned in Live and Let Die, Dean was a bit distracted doing what he was doing on that hunt, but Stan was definitely putting out 'don't look in your pocket' vibes that sealed the deal. At least for a bit.
While Stan concentrates on not being seen, humans' eyes won't focus on him and/or they might ignore his general vicinity. Even if he were out in the open and a human tried looking right where he was, with his knack active their gaze would simply slide off him like... uh, whatever it is water slides off. It's an incredibly useful skill for a borrower to have, and even in AU like Brothers Chosen where he doesn't realize he has it, he can still use it!
And though it isn't as easily discovered by him, his knack also works in the reverse: Stan can draw a human's focus towards himself, making it difficult for them to ignore him or even look away if he's really digging in. This could be a handy tactic for diversion, or a way to alert a friendly human that something's going on with him.
Like most knacks, Stan's does have its limits and rules. It works similarly to Sherlock's knack, where it only affects Stan at its base level but he can train it to affect others in a larger area with much greater effort and higher chance of burnout. It also doesn't affect borrowers/littles' attention at all, so even if he's fully hidden from human view, a fellow smol will be able to see him just fine.

On March 20, 2014, @neonthebright and @creatorofuniverses started to write a story together... one that would eventually be titled A Little Bit of Trust. And from there on after, we couldn't be stopped! In the last 10 years, the Trust Multiverse has expanded to hold four complete (and frankly enormous) stories, numerable shorter tales, and an even higher number of AUs.
It's been an immense labor of love for the both of us, and we're so glad we get to share it with all of you. Thank you.
Full pictures under the cut!

My copy has arrived and I'm so excited to read through it again on paper!
Thank you so much for this!

Ta-da! The set is complete!
Three copies of @nightmares06 and @neonthewrite's Bigfoot's a Hoax! One for me, and one each for the authors.
For the moment, they're all tucked into my bookcase, but soon they shall be on their way to their authors' bookshelves!

Neon will also be receiving the original painting from which the covers were made. I figured that since it's mostly a painting of her character Jacob, I'd give her first dibs if she'd like to have it, and she said she would.
As I mentioned in my post about the first copy, the typeset for this book was done by a fellow Renegade member, for the 2022 typeset exchange. Ruby did a fabulous job with the typesetting, and I particularly love the accent font she picked for the dropcaps.

I keep thinking I'm almost ready to get back to posting, and then I immediately get sick. On my second case of strep throat in the last three months T.T
I'm planning on at least getting back to writing soon, and I owe one person a story that's first in line, and hopefully the rest falls in place once I finish that up!

Share one of your favourite scenes from a creator
I'm choosing "Stan learns how to handle a borrower" from Brothers Consulted by @borrowedtimeandspace and @nightmares06
Brothers Consulted is a crossover fanfic with Dean and Sam from supernatural living in the walls of John and Sherlock from BBC Sherlock
Stan is a government agent tasked with rescuing borrowers from where they have been kidnapped and sold as pets but he's worried about scaring them or hurting them by accident. Dean offers to help out by allowing him to practise. Fearplay adjacent hijinks and then a super protective giant John who walks in on the scene.
The scene starts here and you should also read the whole series (here)

I had a question about the BA multiverse, one that keeps me up at night.
Where does Sam go to the bathroom? where he went when he lived with his family, and when he's at Bobby's, or in a motel room with Dean. because I guess he doesn't literally go to the bathroom.
Well, this question comes up quite often, so feel free to read through our 'bathroom problem' tag, which also covers sprites and I believe a bit of funeral information, and I'll copy over my previous answer:
Before Sam hit the road with Dean, their family lived with an outhouse. It was placed under the motel, as deep as they could go to where they were able to dig holes. This was also used by Walt to dispose of the remains of the rats he would kill and skin. When full they would cover up the hole and find a different place to dig.
Afterwards, it became easier. Sam can simply use the sink in the bathroom. He’s able to get himself around the entire motel room without any help, and he doesn’t have to worry about being grabbed if he’s out in the open. For his teeth he can snitch some toothpaste from Dean while he’s up there. There’s only been one time Dean almost walked in on Sam while he was using the sink, and the scolding Dean got sent him almost running.
I’m probably not going to go any deeper in depth on this subject. Size and location have never been seen as a detriment on living for me. People will find a way.

Hey! It’s Deans Birthday today! (Jan 24)
In Brothers Apart, does Sam do anything for Dean on his birthday?
Sam would definitely try and make it special if they're not busy on a case!
He does occasionally sneak on Dean's phone when they have nothing else going on, if there is ever pie on the list of in-room service, he'd be sure to order some right to the room.
Naturally, it's a surprise, so Dean would have no clue that someone will be knocking at the door, but he'll cheer up when he sees what Sam managed. Lil guy is an expert at the sneak, it's not often someone can pull one over on Dean Winchester

Oh oh oh! What do they boys do for Christmas? I forget if this was already answered or not
No worries! We’ve answered it on past years, but not recently!
The Winchester boys rarely stop to enjoy Christmas, but Dean definitely picked up some eggnog and treated Sam to a drink. It’s not his fault if Sam drank a little more than expected and doesn’t even remember the night now…

Got a lovely drawing from @wolfie180g in the mail and finally remembered to post it!
Bowman would make a very fidgety tree topper and I don’t think he’d stay up there for long. He has some doubts about this Christmas Spirit. Who is it and what do they do.

Christmas Lights, Christmas Sprite
Tumblr media
After seeing this adorable artwork, I absolutely had to make a story to go along with it. This isn’t really canon to Fairy Tales, but it was a lot of fun anyway. The art was made by the amazing @lamthetwickster and commissioned by @nightmares06. Thank you both, and Merry Christmas to all!
Approx. reading time ~5-10 minutes
After the hustle and bustle leading up to the holiday, nothing suited Jacob more than lounging on the couch.
The living room was kept tidy, with the rug vacuumed and the coffee table free of the usual craft magazines that adorned it. There was a low fire in the fireplace, behind a worn metal grate to keep any errant sparks at bay. The furniture, well worn from years of use, had been pushed aside from its usual arrangement to make room for a tall addition that glittered and glowed.
The Christmas tree was rumpled on one side, so they’d set it up with that part facing the wall. The rest was adorned with sparkling ornaments, and a string light that Jacob had been tasked with adding on. His mother was way too short to reach the top of the tree.
There was white felt wrapped around the base for fake snow, and a tidy little pile of wrapped gifts arranged around it. With the fireplace going and the soft light from the tree reflecting around the room, it made a typical Christmas setting.
The wood sprite fluttering around the room made things less typical.
