I always thought this.

It would add a lot more development to both Gundham and Kazuichi. If that happened, there are way more possibilities of what to do with the story. Like a suicide in chapter 4 from one of the two boys out of sadness. Or perhaps a new friendship between them like Ishimaru and Mondo.

Confession: I think Sonia should’ve died in chapter 3 instead of Hiyoko. She was clearly on the path of a redemption arc, but they decided to kill her off before she got there. I remember hearing somewhere that Fuyuhiko was supposed to die in her place, but that would’ve made Peko’s sacrifice a waste. Except Hiyoko’s death has that same problem, because it means that Mahiru’s death was a waste too. Honestly my way of fixing it is having Sonia die instead. She was even the one to suggest Hiyoko head to the music venue for a mirror, so it would make sense for Hiyoko to ask Sonia to get it for her, she heads to the music venue and sees Mikan murdering Ibuki and gets subsequently killed. Problem solved
