i just… monsta x weren’t meant to have managed to get to this stage. listen, they were a rookie group who had a bit of hype during their debut but it quickly died down. and then they had to take a long break because of injuries…. and usually? that is so damaging. losing fans, public losing interest in them etc. no one expected they’ll recover from that, no one expected them to regain a fandom… to get to the point where they are now.

and thats what gets me, because they themselves didnt think that. thats why after all in it was comeback after comeback after comeback. thats why they’re always so fucking scared to take a break, to stop promoting even for just 2 weeks because they know, they’ve experienced what that could do. that’s why they’re always telling us not to go anywhere, to stay with them for a long time.

they worked and continue to work so hard to prove themselves, and that’s why they’re such a huge inspiration to me. despite it all they didn’t give up, they work so hard and they’ve acquired a beautiful fandom whom they cherish and they just deserve everything they’ve got. they deserve it all and more and i’m so glad they’re at the point they are now. they weren’t meant to have gotten there but they did
