ok *cracks knuckles* so the first question's main potentially fraught points, as I see it, are:

is the "egg past self" old enough compared to your present self for this to not be weird on principle?

what's your stance on selfcest?

can entering a romantic relationship for "I can fix her" reasons be made effective (and not, as it usually is, a gigantic waste of time/sanity for everyone involved) when you have outside context insider info to guide you on what actually would fix her?

for ease of discussion, let's assume #1 checks out. let's also skip talking about #2 because, as an Umineko enjoyer and particularly a "F/F Ange Umineko" enjoyer, my views on that topic must be embargoed from the eyes of goats to preserve the safety and integrity of the Golden Land.

this leaves us free to focus on #3.

there's a certain baseline level of, uh, both people knowing what the stakes are? that I feel like is gonna be important for any romantic relationship where the emotional entanglement goes beyond "recurring hook-up". how honest do you think you can be with your past self about what's going on here? below a certain threshold of honesty, you're running a real risk of giving this new iteration of yourself a Jane Zombies complex, especially since you'll have to break off the relationship eventually. but above a certain threshold of honesty, you stop really getting anything out of the "dating" part of the plan b/c your identity as your past self's future self affect how much confidence can really be drawn from your opinion on your past self's cuteness/beauty.

the best comparison I can draw here is when someone is writing "self inserted with knowledge of how this story is gonna go" fanfic and their SI ends up dating one of the characters for disaster prevention and/or "healing" reasons. it's a similar advantage but also runs into similar failure states revolving around the fundamental ability or lack thereof to be honest with your partner about your intentions.

you'd have to get that balance right. that's possible, but tricky, and risky both in practical and moral terms.

as for the second question? in my view it totally changes the equation - from "maybe" to "air raid sirens going off" - because it'd make me distrust where the impulse to execute this plan came from.

it's no secret that suicide rates are horrifically high among trans folks who don't get respect from their communities.

so a plan like this? there's an "apelle du vide" factor, isn't there? the dark notion that "I - the failed me - will die so that this me can live and succeed". and that's an angle that, aside from being something to avoid in and of itself, will also multiply everything fraught about #3 that we already discussed. not only is it self-destructive, but it also increases the likelihood that the only thing you'll be buying by vanishing in a puff of logic is to make things worse.

discussion question: is it ethical, as a trans woman, to date your egg past self (via time travel) in order to build her confidence and smooth her transition?

bonus question: does this change if it erases you from the timeline, Back to the Future-style, given that the version in the "alpha timeline" will be more well-adjusted and confident in herself?
