Play 'Time's Gap' Here

Conduct a magic ritual, experience demonic memories, rip a hole in the fabric of spacetime. This one was written for Orifice Jam, so it's also pretty gross, lol (you've been warned, check those content warnings).

This one is probably my favorite of the bunch, and is transcribed from a short interactive snippet I wrote previously. Extactly what it says on the tin. You are a demon. You hatch.

Chapter Nine is here!

Hey everyone!

As promised, we have reached 22 July here in Australia, and that means I'm dropping the pubic release of Chapter Nine. In this chapter, you can:

Meet a couple new figures from a very relevant myth. Go with their plans or don't.

Reunite (happily or otherwise) with Demeter

Have some more really weird dreams, and potentially get to use that magic you might have learned from Hypnos

Get the world's most vague and slapdash introduction to parts of Olympian politics

Be visited by a friend

Please note that this chapter's content warnings are for abduction and confinement.

Chapter Nine has 111,735 words, bringing Fields of Asphodel's total word count to 1,111,122. Did I briefly consider cutting 11 of them? Yes, yes I did.

We're over a million, and with one chapter and an epilogue to go. Almost there!

Magician's Voyage Mini Update: Multipronoun Patch

Hey all, I've just updated the demo with some new pronouns, and a few other things!

New Features:

Multiple sets of pronouns (she/they, he/they, she/they/he, etc) for the MC, including up to three sets of custom player-input pronouns

Nonbinary woman, nonbinary man, agender, and genderfluid options in character creation

New facial hair and makeup options 🧙‍♂️💅✨

I also just released some sample code for multiple interchangeable pronoun sets in CS, that you're welcome to use in your own projects too 🙂

the one time this winter i scatter some seeds for the little songbirds, it attracts a flock of wild turkeys to my yard. i’m grateful to see them up close again but they are simply too big for the 2 inch windowsill they tried to feed on it’s been days since the seed was eaten and they’re just here now, foraging in the one strip of grass that’s clear of snow. i fear for my safety

Chapter Seven is Complete!

Hello everyone!

As the post title indicates, chapter seven is now live and available for everyone to play.

In this chapter, enjoy (or don't) a gathering of friends, spend a little quality time with someone, and be interrupted by an impending disaster! (Don't you love those?)

Special content warnings this time for:

Fantasy violence and some gore

Light horror elements, esp. on Alekto and Pyri's routes

Villains being nasty (in particular some sexism, directed at an NPC)

Drug and alcohol use (entirely optional on the PC's part)

Pyri attempting to dance (/j; they do on some playthroughs but it doesn't need a content warning)

I recommend playing with a new save, as some new variables were added and you may get continuity errors without them, but it isn't the biggest issue even if you do, I don't think.

And for those of you who are wondering, chapter seven has a total of 253,090 words, bring Asphodel itself to a total of 812,347 words!

Happy update day!!! A decently sized update (about 3k words) where we branch out – this is significantly different from the DashingDon version of Greenwarden! I was always unsatisfied with Riley Summers (originally named Billy Carpenter)’s arc and mystery, so we get into that some in this chapter! You’ll certainly see more of the Summers and McNeils in future updates…

CHANGELOG

A new content warning is added to the list: DEATH (INCLUDING: CHILDREN, ANIMALS)

A few new scenes, as well as the option to develop your character and relationship with Nazeri

I may have missed international lesbians day (I’m pretty sure it’s october 8, which is yesterday?) but I finally decided to make finish an art piece years in the making. I finally felt like I could do it justice. Potpourri the cockatrice, a florist who uses her paralyzing venom to preserve flowers, and Salmagundi the manticore, her hired bodyguard. They were created when I first started learning about anything LGBTQIA+ in a positive light and were my first very stereotypical butch/femme couple. They’ve come so far in both character and design lol.

Potpourri does not know how to wield a sword but Sally agreed to pose for a picture. I do not know what shading is but blocks of colors are fun to draw. There are things I can improve on, but I am so proud of the stuff I’ve been doing lately, and this is a nice place to share! Y’all are lovely.

P.S. I promise I’ve made progress on my writing. Life has just been nothing short of chaos and sometimes you need to turn your brain off and draw some gal pals <3

I did not finish this at all, but I like the first few sprites, and I wanted to share :D

There’s the prompt list with the colorscheme, and my pokemon farm (at least, the half of the sprites I finished). It was pretty easy to come up pokemon that fit this colorscheme because surprisingly most of my favorites do. It was pretty fun and I’m proud of most of them, even if half the time I spent was just making them shorter until they looked proportional-ish. I make things too tall.

some time into your adulthood, they have you deified - and your life is completely turned upside down as you very quickly go from living a quiet village life to the dizzying world of the pantheon’s valley.

how well do you think you’ll embrace your new life as a god? do you get along with the others? who and what will you meet along the way?

you were raised in the city-state of Iestalle, a moderately sized village besides a tall mountainous ridge. it was known to everyone in your home town that beyond the mountain was a valley where all of the gods that are worshipped there reside. no mortal has ever made it into the valley and returned to tell the tale, but now…

you, one of the only mortals known be deified, would make the trek to the other side and take your place among the pantheon.

you make your character! you choose your own name, pronouns, appearance and backstory.

I’ve always wanted to learn blender, so this week I decided to not do that and just mess around in the program after watching approximately 5 minutes worth of the same video over and over. Don’t do that. But I did get a dragon out of it! It’s modeled after a dragon from a book series (Wings of Fire) a friend of mine is pestering me to finish reading, so I got to tell them I spent my time doing this instead :) You can see some pictures under the cut
