To the ftm trans people who know they're men but still want to wear dresses or skirts or look/be feminine but are afraid that it'll make them "less of a man":

Do it. Be feminine, wear a dress, look pretty. As long as you're comfortable in your own skin it does not matter what you wear or how you present yourself, especially to other people. Clothes don't define or determine gender.

This is coming from experience! I've known I was trans for around 4-5 years now and when I first started transitioning I was very much against ANYTHING feminine, but I had never really been all that "girly" anyways. Now I am a man who actively wears jewelry, makeup, women's clothes, etc. and I'm so much happier for it. As I got older I realized I didn't need to conform to society's standards of gender to be what I am - and you don't either. Just do what feels right, and don't let other people put you down for it. Only you know who you really are.
