Sitting on my playmat with my stuffies, I hear my tummy growl. I crawled over to you at your desk and nudge your leg softly, "dada...m'very hungy." You stop typing on your laptop and look down at me lovingly, "you just had dindins sweetheart. do you want a snack baby?" I nod slowly and head back over to my playmat. You emerge from the kitchen 10 minutes later with a plastic plate of fruit all cut up into small slices! "Here you are my little angel, make sure your stuffie has some too."

We arrived home from the playground with a very muddy, tired and fussy little. "It's bathtime little bug! Look at how messy you are baby." You cooed. I grumbled, normally I'd love bathtime! But I was so sleepy from playing on the swings and slides I jus wan go nini. "Bu m'seepy dada..." You picked me up and took me to my nursery, "You can nap afterwards darling, but we need to get you squeaky clean first, alright? They'll be lots of bubbles to play with!" My eyes lit up, "Bubbwes dada! I wan lots an lots!" You laughed and kissed the top of my head, getting me ready for bathtime.

"dada! dada!" you heard me shout you from outside and knew instantly what was wrong. "hey little one. you feeling smaller than usual?" you say as you make your way over to me in the sandpit. I nod, not wanting to use my big girl voice. I make grabby hands and you pick me up, slotting me on your hip and you carry me back inside. "would you like your baba, baby?" I clap my hands excitedly and nod. You quickly make me a bottle of warm milk in my favourite baby bottle and sit with me on the couch, "come on bug, open wide!" I happily oblige, humming contently as you feed me whilst gently wiping the hair from my forehead, "my cute tiny baby, aren't you? so tiny!"
