he waves one of the diner’s waitresses over to their booth and asks for two cake batter milkshakes- one for miss blake and one for him. might not mend a broken heart but at least it’s something to help keep her mind off her most lamentable jam, if only for tonight. ❛ it’s ted! ❜ he corrected her again, dipping a finger into the puddle of ketchup on his plate before tapping the end of her nose with it.
