As an aspiring writer, it's difficult not to look at stories you love and wonder 'What if?' I have notice how the Joker's origin in The Killing Joke and the Joker movie (2019) take place during the 1980s. But what if it took place today? That's what I try to answer! In this original work I explore how a complex character like the Joker could emerge and be influence by current social problems. It's a romantic, crime, and specially mysterious short story that I wish one day could make it to DC as a comic book, and if it doesn't, at least I enjoyed writing it, and I hope you enjoy reading it!
