anyways, if I may, could I be the first to request something? If so, could you write a scenario of Y/n accidentally killing a padawan, she’s so distraught over it, maybe even cries and tries to help them. Hunter and the rest obviously see, and Cross being Cross he just doesn’t feel about it. Yet he does feel bad for her, she goes on about her day sad. And when night time comes, he just cuddles her?

“Cross, I think we should head back” you gave him a heads up as you both ventured beyond your designated position. Obliviously Crosshair took you along with him, since he only ever trusted you completely, you both were together and he felt more like himself around you. He told Hunter you both would be back as you seen someone run off, Hunter giving you permission to go and search. But this was far from the ship, to far for anyone to run non stop. “Quiet. Now listen” he shushed you, you stopped after him as he listen around him. Everything was quiet, you gripped your rifle in your hands, as you held your breath in. Suddenly there was branches being broken, and the crunch of leaves were prominent. Cross backed up against you, his little way of showing he would still protect you even though you could manage your own, and to see if you were still there.

The sound continued for a few moments before it went quiet. To be honest, you were quite scared, a bit of who ever you seen, and what could be out here. Your thoughts raced, what if it was a predator? So many animals projected through your head as you stood there, watching. A dark figure finally appeared to the left of you, running with a lightsaber. Instinct kicked in as you fired, somewhat bracing for impact, closing your eyes. You opened them, and their they laid. On the ground, walking closer, you seen that it was a Padawan, your heart didn’t drop, but it wanted too. They seemed too young, somewhat reminding you of Omega, a kid. You knelt beside them, taking off your helmet and breathing in the fresh air. It felt like you had the wind knocked out of you. A tear ran down your face, the last thing you wanted to do was hurt a Jedi, much more, a padawan.

You wiped your cheek with the back of your hand as you checked their body. “I, I didn’t mean” you said through a brittle voice, Cross only watched with annoyance as he already had his helmet off, putting the toothpick between his lips. He didn’t much care for the young Jedi, but he didn’t like the sight of you crying. “I didn’t mean for this to happen” you finally said what you wanted too, taking a deep breath in and letting a small one out. Cross kneeled beside you, coming closer. “Good soldiers follow orders” you blinked your eyes and thought about his words, looking into the forest while doing so. Trying to rid of the tears that didn’t fall, once your vision was clearer, you seen that he had his hand extended out towards you. You wiped your face once more to clear anymore tears, then taking your hand to place in Cross’. You held it while still kneeling, looking at the kid once more, Cross then squeezed your hand to remind you what you needed to do again. You noticed and grabbed your helmet off the ground, standing up and brushing your armor off.

You turned away and slid your helmet on, tightening your rifle strap and walking off from the scene. Cross followed, but then was met with the faces of his brothers standing there. He gave them his signature bored look, “Y/n?” Hunter stated, but you only pushed past him. Not wanting to talk since you felt like any moment your voice would give away the intention that you cried. They seen it, but they knew better than to question you, especially when you were upset. Cross looked at the group of men, Omega with a confused look on her face only watched. Tech didn’t like when you were upset, and Wrecker didn’t feel right when you were, Echo couldn’t care less, but he still worried about you. You continued to walk back to the ship, Cross right behind you all the way.

The walk back seemed faster than walking out there, before you knew it, you were in the restroom. Washing your face from dried tears. That image wouldn’t leave your head for awhile. “Y/n” Cross called out from the door, knocking after, “I’d suggest you go back to your room before everyone gets back” right, you forgot everyone was still coming back. You dried your face and walked out the door, walking to your room. The rest of the day, everyone worried about you. Hunter asked Cross if you were ok, and Wrecker told Cross to tell you to come out and play with him and Omega as he handed Lula to her. Cross only grumbled at their requests and questions about you, an annoyed “she’s fine” left his lips as he put the toothpick away. You did come out a few times, but only gave short answers to everyone’s questions.

Night fell faster than you expected it, and before you knew it, you were laying in bed. Staring at the ceiling, maybe you overreacted towards the guys, maybe even a little to Omega. At least you planned on saying your sorry’s in the morning. Your door opened and then closed, it was a bit dark, but you could still see who it was. Cross walked in, sitting at the edge of your bed, he didn’t say anything. But he did take his long sleeve shirt off, leaving him in regular black shirt. Then he kicked off his armored pants, he crawled over to you. You didn’t know what to say exactly. But you started, “I’m sorry” “I know, but don’t say it to me. Say it to the others out there, just so they know to stop asking questions” he hummed out, moving you closer to him, your arm immediately went over his chest and you used his bicep as a pillow which he always volunteered to do, and said it was never a problem.

“Right, but I didn’t mean to.. do whatever I did back there” “you were only doing what you were told” not exactly, but you only did that only to survive what happened. There was no way that padawan was going to escape with Cross around. You didn’t want to say anything more about it, so you held onto him.

His chest rose then fell, his heartbeat was steady and calm. You were between both him and the wall, he always chose to sleep near the edge and closer to the door, it was always “because he was a better shot” and “his rifle was just right there” but you knew deep down it was because he was wanted to keep you safe. Something you saw in him that was his way of saying “I love you” it’s not like he didn’t say it, but actions were always more of his style.

The hand that was over him traveled to the edge of his collar, then to his cheek. He slightly leaned into your touch, a thumb ran over the places it could reach. Which was the line of his Crosshair tattoo just near his eye. You felt him relax almost right then and there, but that wasn’t the best part. Whenever you played with his hair, only in private, he would always hold you back. Not like what he was doing now, but actually hold you. Which you did, you stroked through his white hair, it’s softer than it looks, he froze for a second. Then turned on his side to face you, now he held you, not long after, he was all over you. His leg over yours and an arm wrapped around just above your waist. He wasn’t asleep just yet, he always waited for you to first. “I love you” you whispered to him, trying to get as close to him as possible. You weren’t expecting for him to respond, since he never really did, “I love you too” but he did. It surprised you, yet made you feel that same warm feeling you always got whenever you are around him. He squeezed you gently as he waited for you to fall asleep. He did feel a bit guilty, even mad at himself since he basically pushed you into something you didn’t want to. But he just couldn’t stand the look and attitude you gave off whenever one of the guys seen you. So he planned on making it up by going out of his way to actually make you feel better, and he couldn’t have had it any other way.

It’s ok really, I don’t really take hate to heart, but it’s just getting to the point where the same person(s) keeps sending saying stuff in the ask and just commenting on my stories. Hey, I know we don't really talk but I heard that you've been getting hate for your Makarov content. I just want to say that your content, even if it's OOC (honestly who gives a fuck if it's OOC? it's literally fandom), is wonderful! Please don't let some stupid motherfucker who doesn't have a life outside of sending hate to a good person get you down and don't let it stop you from writing for a fandom. It's the worst feeling in the world.

That being said, I also wouldn't blame you if you need to take a break for your own sake. Please take care of yourself!! <3

It doesn’t matter if we don’t talk much, just knowing that you’re here talking now is all that matters. Maybe it is kinda my fault for making him so soft and all, but I know some people enjoy soft! makarov and I love writing him that way. Like yeah, who cares if a character is ooc, it just makes it all the more sweet and cute. And just to clear up any confusion for readers who missed the earlier asks, I am not saying I’m not writing anymore, I’m just taking a break from the fandom because this hate coming in, is just ridiculous. Not all people agree with my version of Makarov and that’s alright. But what’s not alright, is forcing them to do something they don’t want, that’s selfish. I’m writing for multiple people, not just one person. I am so grateful for those who understand. I never thought and never wanted it to come to this, but I just can’t really handle hate coming in almost every morning. I mean, I’ve never felt that feeling of not wanting to write. And now that I’m experiencing lack of writing for the only person I know the most about, it makes me kinda sick to my stomach thinking about writing for him. It’s sad, really, I don’t know how the Makarov lovers feel.
