Since Eid is technically 3 days, here’s some extra Halalverse™️ Tokyo Ghoul Headcanons! Once again accredited by @backgroundcharacterno7 and I in my server. <3

Some of these are general and not necessarily pertaining to Eid, just yapping as someone raised Muslim.

Hide recites Surahs to the tune of a western pop, or hip hop song. One day he recites it to WAP and he gets called out for it, “brother how do you know what WAP is? 🤨”

Amon, though is canonically Catholic, should he be Muslim he would definitely be a hafiz. Many women are looking to court with him because he is a respectful man who keeps his gaze lowered.

Tsukiyama has the most extravagant Eid parties, you think that shit is a wedding. Everyone making their Eid rounds has to come and stop by at least once and he’s gives Hinami, and Ichika a surplus of Eidi.

Ayato would get Eidi from Touka the first time in a long time, and it would make him get all emotional and misty eyed but he won’t admit it so he’s all “Hmph, thanks I guess,” about it.

Mutsuki is helping Haise in the kitchen to manage the stress and has a hard dysphoria day going to the masjid. Urie would try to work out extra hard after sehri/suhoor and passes out.

Furuta is banned from the masjid because he keeps shouting “I HAVE A BOMB”, sister Rize is nowhere to be found because he cannot lower his gaze.

Hysy Artmask Studio makes bank on chaandrat because he’s doing everyone’s mehendi. Itori reveals a little more skin the more the next Muslim dudebro asks her to wear the hijab.

what if soma, who was walking around arikado's house, found an old portrait of trevor and sypha made by him? like the tepes family one? ari is not there since he was the one drawing, but even the little baby they had is there. a little girl who looks exactly like sypha.

and just right when he was about to leave, arikado appears with a "dinner's ready." then you have soma saying how sorry he is, how it wasn't his intention to poke around and he wouldn't do it again. but arikado doesn't mind, he just— looks at the painting for a few moments and just says that they better leave, because the food is going to get cold.
