Yeah, I the moment I remember most in our session zero was not when I succeeded, it was when I tried to pull my rapier and it got stuck. Comedic moment of all times. Group of adventurers and kid with -1 strength is so funny to me. It makes them feel so real. He’s not an adventurer, he survived through being the one who thought ahead and I think in a fight, that’s often fast and impulsive it sort of adds to it when my rolls are shitty.

Honestly? My main piece of advice for writing well-rounded characters is to make them a little bit lame. No real living person is 100% cool and suave 100% of the time. Everyone's a little awkward sometimes, or gets too excited about something goofy, or has a silly fear, or laughs about stupid things. Being a bit of a loser is an incurable part of the human condition. Utilize that in your writing.

I thought a lot of stations did not work anymore but I was wrong I am listening to BBC Scotland (Glasgow) right now. This is SPLENDID it’s better than my modern radio! I also got some Russian? Stations I am just rifling through my middle wave stations right now and noting them in a notebook.

Say hello to The Lady, a radio from around 1950-1955/56 from West-Germany I bought in a thrift store today. I am ABSOLUTELY IN LOVE. I’m trying to find a way to plug it in because it has a round plug that doesn’t work on today’s ones and will try to find some channels that still work.

I think the year she was bought can be narrowed down to maybe 1950-1954 because there’s a control seal on the back from 1975, so it must have been a few years old for the previous owner to feel the need to get it controlled on functionality.

I researched and other radios like this were produced in 1955/56, so I was almost right! She still has a radio station that did not exist after this year, so this was probably why they changed it. These radios were called Sinfonia 4R/221.

An article said it had very good sound quality and is very valuable so this is my goblin treasure now.
