oh man oh man. honestly i have A List of things i would have liked to be different and weirdly there’s a huge number of women’s names in it. (i really do have that list somewhere.) 

out of the top of my head, whatever the fuck was up with hancock and luffy, sanji lusting after children, and rebecca. haven’t even watched or read dressrosa yet but i still noted a bunch of stuff i’d like to change for if i ever do write for nana, like rebecca killing diamante, finishing what her mom had started years ago (because i think i had unilaterally decided that scarlett had managed to gravely hurt diamante rather than just dying like a good little fridged mom? also she was older because by gd if oda doesn’t stop with disgusting age gaps i’m gonna hunt him for sport).

He adores giving flowers to his s/o, especially if his partner is female. There’s something universally romantic for him in the gesture of handing an elegant bouquet of flowers to the love of his life. Maybe he’s a bit too old fashioned and learned a bit too much from romance novels (the ones he reads on the sly), but he simply can’t imagine NOT showering you with flowers with any opportunity given. Usually those are classic, red roses; he truly can spend fortune on them, sometimes the crew laughs at him he engages into piracy so he could have money on fancy flowers. But honestly, if the times aren’t easy, any flower would do. In desperation he can even buy you a succulent - which is cute, especially since his ears get that burning red color of embarrassment, because he thinks it’s not suitable to give someone a cactus as a romantic gift. But giving a not suitable plant is still more suitable than not giving you any this week. The schedule must be fulfilled!
