Clown month is a yearly month-long challenge focused on celebrating clowns and encouraging creativity. For every day of the month, you are invited to create one piece of art inspired by a given prompt.

Clown month is not a contest, the only goal is to have fun. You can bend the rules however you want, do only a few days, ignore the prompts, mix them up…

🟠 When is Clown Month? 🟠

A vote has been held: Clown month will be held in July! Expect to see the prompt list early June.

However, you can create for the event whenever you want: for me to see it, you have to either tag me in your post, or send it as a submission. Please do not dm me the link nor send it as an ask.

🟡 Is it Tumblr only? 🟡

Currently the event is only held on tumblr, although you are encouraged to share the prompt list & your creations on other social media.

I am currently looking for another mod to create an account for the event on Twitter on Insta, so if you are interested, please DM me.

🟢 Tagging system 🟢

From now on updates & announcements will be tagged clown month announcement , so that it can be searched outside of this blog.

Any reblogged posts that can be described as unsettling will be tagged as horror.
