the more i catch up on this feud the more im just sitting here like holy shit. hangman is incapable of not getting wrapped up in his feuds. the longer he dances with someone, the more he grips them tighter, draws blood. he is a modern narcissus, drawing to what he shares in others and unrecognizing the difference, the similarities. he obsesses over what he doesn't have and denies what he does, both materially and in others. he lashes out, usually injuring himself in the process.

the fun thing about this one with swerve is that he's finally got a feudmate who wants to do the same. when hangman attempts to burrow himself in swerve, swerve doesn't just reciprocate, he's fully there too. they're tangling in each other. obsessed with all the parts where they mirror and all the parts where they differ.

hangman leaving scars on swerve, swerve unable to let it be without mention. making the leap in logic that because someone seriously discusses transmasculine and trans men's issues that they must hate transfems and not acknowledge trans women's issues is literally this line of thinking:
