Not fully ripe, but I had to pick the nectarines as they were starting to fall off the tree. 3 kg, first year harvest.

They'd have been fully ripe in 7-10 days. On the other hand, my blood peaches are far from ready. Easily need 1 more month. Didn't really consider this when planting them, but I like that they have different ripening times.

Okay so I just need to share something that happened because oh my god the visual of it is hilarious

So so

Me and my roommate @redraspberrycats both really like our flag means death, and respectively, the new teaser came out so we've had quite a bit of content to talk about.

So today we were both sitting on the couch, talking about possible plot points that could happen in the new season as I ate a nectarine (trust me, this ties in). We mainly talked about Izzy, because like- come on, it's Izzy Hands and we have new content of the babygirl 😼

But anyways our focus was on how his relationship with both Ed and Stede could change given what the teaser and the first look article we read said about Izzy knowing who he's in love with and debating who it might be, wondering if we could have a thing where he like, realizes he's in love with Stede but is tormented because he knows Stede loves Ed, or he loves Ed but Ed is emotionally unstable and still has thoughts on his previous relationship, or even (a very small chance) we get some SteddyHands action here.

But back to why I find this situation funny- I had just finished the nectarine and was looking at the pit of it. Nectarines have small orange fuzz on them, and just thinking out loud, I said, "what if I shampooed and blow dried him and turned him into the Lorax"

And my roommate said:

"who, Izzy?"

I LOST IT OML I THOUGHT THAT IMAGERY WAS SO FUNNY TO ME

I understood that I confused them and clarified I meant the nectarine pit but just the thought of the cursed abomination that would be Izzy somehow groomed like the Lorax???

Hilarious.
