There is no GW Official model, though there's a variety of 3rd party models out there. I have two, from Hardcore Miniatures and from Pop Goes The Monkey. Both very fun models!

Birds are very cool. I'm very into wings, as featured in my ridiculous wing!AUs and my winged!custodes models.

Not a chaos space marine! Yes she's from the Heresy. She's super cool! Lotara Sarrin is the Flag Captain of the Conqueror, the flagship of the World Eaters Legion during the Heresy. She's also the 'ship mistress' in the current era, as it appears she was sort of absorbed/taken in by the Conqueror's machine spirit by the end of the Heresy(the ship had been consumed by Chaos energy after Angron's fall to Khorne).

Post convention enthusiasm- finally getting to the titanicus/imperialis terrain. It continued to rain today so priming is being done in the paint booth. Zenithel highlight primer and then onto the airbrush.

Not great pictures but I was pretty frustrated by the time I got it all on. The corset needed to be re-laced, and the Velcro in the greaves needs to be re-glued. Some wonkiness with the way the plates sit on the shoes now. I don’t remember the chest plate feeling that hard to move in either. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Another cos-test! Lotara Sarrin of the World Eaters done. Will be styling the wig later this week, and a make up test for the facial scars. Couple little things I think I’ll adjust, but super excited for Adepticon.

Doing some costume tests today to make sure I’m all set for adepticon! I ended up doing some touch ups on my robes to get them to sit better. I also added some loops on the inside of my outer robe to store the saber blade while the hilt is stowed on my belt. :)

cant tell you how bad it feels to constantly tell other artists to come to tumblr, because its the last good website that isn't fucked up by spoonfeeding algorithms and AI bullshit and isn't based around meaningless likes

In our recent dnd campaign, my half elf cleric got dropped. Our Firbolg paladin healed her enough to get her back up (and have a PTSD flashback in the process) while our half orc paladin finished off the big bad. In the dramatic role play that followed, my cleric healed her and the party before passing out. So have an art to commemorate the trauma!

Back to working on my Lotara Sarrin costume in prep for adepticon 2024. The pistol needs a little bit of filler on the seams then it’s good for prime and paint. The jacket needs gold cord on the cuffs and probably something more with the shoulder embroidery. On the docket is also a holster and maybe some belt pouches. Debating if the cape needs more too but I’m also trying to hold onto the simplicity the legion is known for.

Most recent quilt top. I’m taking a long arm quilt class later in the month so I can do some nice stitching on top 🥰 very excited. Not terrible for a first time with stained glass style quilting.

Bought these funny lil bases for our figures- their feet have slots but they’re not all that uniform even within the same series. These acrylic bases from canofbeams come with different size pegs. And I can stop knocking the whole shelf over every time I bump the bookcase. 😭
