My mut replacer is a 2nd gen Ferus, so he would be! :) That’s kinda part of the reason why I’m so torn. I don’t want to “waste” him by having a bad heir, if that makes sense.

To be fair, many desirable things in LD require luck, not skill, to breed. It’s a little unfair to make skill level judgements of people who may have just never gotten lucky enough to have that 3x ros breed-only base. RNG works against all of us.

for the anon a page or so back asking about people hating on double rosettes: a fair chunk of players are losing interest in them because they take no real skill to breed, just an excess of GB (for gnaws, lbr the marking never passes without them) and they aren't even really worth that investment anymore. plus studding to them results in the same as if they have no marking in their ros slot 99% of the time. personally i have no interest in rosettes unless theyre on BO bases.
