Ginger’s Au

Tumblr has failed to save this two times and so I have to rewrite it…. again.

Ah shit here we go again.

Where my Au differs from Cannon is before the show even start. The gem war, more specifically just before the corruption. The crystal gems were on the edge for the next attack… then, instead of waiting, they did something about it. If homeworld wasn’t going to attack them then they would attack homeworld. So they did.

White diamond was the first to shatter, then Rose Quartz herself, then Blue Diamond. Before Yellow was shattered she starting creating backup in the form of five new diamonds. Rain Diamond was the first and only one to emerge during the war. She learned everything she could before Yellow Diamond shattered. After Yellow Diamond shattered Rain Diamond fled to the furthermost place she could.

Soon the war came down to one gem on either side. A Jade of the crystal gems and an Emerald from homeworld. Another side emerged during the war, that of only two gems. While Emerald and Jade were fighting still Tanzanite of the new side poofed them both. She bubbled them both.

The other gem with no side, a Peridot, spent her time making a guide to what happened for the next gems to emerge. Unfortunately it needed a gem to power it and her options were limited. When she approached Tanzanite with this dilemma her best friend convinced her to do it herself, promising that she would be there when Peridot was freed.

Tanzanite left her best friend Peridot trapped within a machine, along with the last remaining gems from the war for the next gem to emerge.

The story starts when a curious Bort is the first to emerge.

Why is it ask the crystal meths? why would you do that? what brought upon that cursed sentence? why?

I came up with that!!! Because i thought it was funny!! it’s a pun! cuz when i was making some of the characters for the AU, i didn’t know any other gems so someone?? it was either me or ginger said Crystal meth! so ye!!!  (Ginger feel free to edit or reblog this if u want!!)

Are the gems in anyway linked to eachother in the universes that they’re in or are they unaware of each others alternate dimensions?

why yes! They do! sometimes they meet up for tea in (my AU’s) Spinel’s garden! (ginger feel free to write an answer onto this if u want!) - Mod Cat!!

It probably doesn't happen very often but they do! Occasionally both halves of Hackmanite will fuse into the gem they were suposted to be, which grants them the ability to sumon portals. They can't use this power for long or transport large amounts of people through. They like to do is from time to time. :) ~Ginger
