She heard him long before she saw him. Of course, she did. The chef wasn’t exactly the most subtle of men when it came to women, after all. Still, he was harmless enough and it wasn’t as if she couldn’t look after herself if he hadn’t been. A relaxed smile played about her painted lips, her large dark eyes closed. All around her she could hear the gentle whispers of her ghosts, their quiet laughter as they weaved and floated in the air nearby. Their mere presence one of the main reasons as to why she was as relaxed as she was. There was just something soothing about them.

To her anyway.

Lifting her parasol as her eyes opened, Perona caught sight of the blond almost instantly. She had assumed he’d show up sooner or later, especially after finding out she had once more decided to grace both him and his crew with her presence.“I was wondering when I’d see you, Sanji-kun~“

Why tho? It’s a normal question lmfao.

Okay so here’s the deal.

I am a 30-year-old Scottish female. Most things generally tend to roll off my back. It’s very hard for me to feel insulted. It’s very hard for me to find something rude.

Your question, I felt, was rude.

And I’m not the only one who thinks so.

Now, for as to why I believe you shouldn’t send people messages like this? Well, there was a reason I told you my age at the start. I am well past the age where I give a damn about anything like whether I’m good or not. I’ve lived my life worrying about things like that, but I also know there are still people who feel the same.

Had you sent that to any one of those people, they themselves may well have taken that as some kind of jab at their abilities and may well have caused them to have feelings of self-doubt over everything that they did thereafter. It may even, in extreme cases, cause them to be forced away from doing something they were enjoying.

And before you say I am overreacting, this was ME just a few years ago. Had someone asked me this back then I would have sat here thinking “Am I good? Or are people just humouring me? Do people really want me here? Maybe I should just leave...”

Oh, and no, your question isn’t just a normal question. In the almost NINE years I have roleplayed on Tumblr, I have never once seen anyone receive a question even remotely similar to this.
