It's my birthday but my life has been on a downward spiral ever since I got rejected by that guy

So I went to go look at some cats today at a shelter and there was a little skinny cat named Jimmy Dean (like the breakfast sandwiches) and he was purring and sitting on my lap and I asked the volunteer what the adoption process was like and she explained it and then said “hear that Jimmy Dean, you might have a home for Christmas!”

The most messed up thing happened to me a few days ago which is:

My close friend wanted to kick out a 'close friend' out of the group because she was being really mean to all of us and had plenty of friends everywhere. Basically we did like a whole script and rehearsed on how to be pissed at her. We practice and I just did whatever close friend #2 said cuz I was neutral about her even though I didn't likeherbackthencuzshemademecri

Then I realized, she is my project group mate and my project is gonna flip if she's mad at me.

So I just told the rest and they threw away the idea
