Happy Pride Month, everyone!
We have a new build for everyone, that not only adds the newest chapters, but also completed the first act. Wherein Stretch makes his way to Old Monochrome in order to meet with everyone's favorite yellow scarf wearing troublemaker.
Here's a more detailed list of updated content:
Content Update - Chapters Nine (6799 words) and Ten (9042 words) added
Added more artists to the music attribution at the end (All music from Pixabay)
Additional a small effect to the start of the first chapter.
With this update, I'll be going on a hiatus so I can get back into writing. I'll do a separate post sometime down the line discussing what I want to do with the current build as well, but for now, I just want people to enjoy the new content.
Now, as for our new chapter cover, I'd like to introduce the twins: Odelia and Ophelia. The art was done by snazzapplesweet! If you like the art, make sure to take a look at their other works!

It's been an exhausting few weeks.
That being said, the newest update is here with Chapter SEVEN and EIGHT. Trying to pick himself up after the last chapters, Stretch now seems to be the target of Monochrome's favorite vandal, and needs to decide on something that might change the way he sees things.
Here's a more detailed list of updated content:

We also have NEW update cover art by Vermintz. Always remember to tip your artists!
One particular thing I'd like to add in the future is an image gallery to show off all the cover art made by various artists, but that will be further down the line.
And while the two newest chapters continue the story of Stretch and the city of Monochrome, it also includes some new effects here and there that I've been experimenting with. You can definitely tell I've been playing around with the Renpy python language here and there. I do intend to return to the previous chapters and play around with them further down the line.
As mentioned in an earlier update, there will be a hiatus after the next content update so I can write more of the story. While it's true I have 30 chapters written, I still want to get ahead of the game.

Hello all!
With today's update we add Chapter FIVE and Chapter SIX, where Stretch begins to feel things he's told aren't normal, but is he sure they really aren't? Feedback is always appreciated, as usual.

Here's a more detailed list of updated content:
Content Update - Chapters Five and Six added
"End of Current Build" section now no longer lets you access the quick menu in any fashion in order to keep from saving on that screen and potentially ruining your save file.
Music Attribution section added to the end of the build. It's not a lot, but I wanted something to credit the musicians, even if it is royalty and attribution free music.
No update cover this time, but I do plan to commission more work for the story. The current state will continue to be text with sound and minor visuals only though. I hope you're excited, and remember to always tip your artists.

Hello all!
There is quite a bit added to this build!
First, we have CHAPTER FOUR, where we get to meet some very important figures in the city of Monochrome. I'd love to hear your feedback, or maybe who gives off the best first impression.
Earlier the past week, I made a poll asking if I should add music and sound to the story. The answer was an overwhelming "YES" to both. After tinkering in Renpy for the last week, as well as scouring royalty free site "Pixabay", I cobbled together a new build complete with music and sound. I hope you enjoy the tracks I picked out for it. Attributions for the song are currently in a file called "Music Credits" in the music folder, but will be folded into in-app credits later on down the line.
On the subject of sound, I'm still incorporating new SFX into the story as well, so this build might contain more elements of silence between certain segments.
In addition to that, I've also included a few new visuals here and there while I stretch my fingers in trying to understand more of the smaller intricacies of Renpy. I hope that they add to the experience.

Hello all! Been a while since I posted on here.
I ended up working on a prototype for a sound(less) kinetic novel over the weekend using a story I wrote a while back. It’s the first three chapters and around 16000+ words roughly. I would love to hear your feedback and if you have any interest in a continuation.
Rating is currently “all ages” but it WILL go up if I decide to continue.
