I'm reposting some of my older OB fics to AO3 that I pulled when I was upset with the show. For a quick explanation, I have stage 4 colon cancer and I have an estimated 2-5 months left to live. Ive had my old ob fics available on my server since pulling them but my private server that has held them for readers won't stay up forever when I'm gone. I'm starting with Fall Into Me only because @jaybear1701 likes the alien smut.

Let's flash back to the v5 finale of RWBY. Yang comes back with the relic and has a line of dialog about Raven being gone without mentioning she was the spring maiden.

The fandom went apeshit. The hate posts were INSTANT. They called Yang a liar and withholding the truth that she didn't instantly tell everyone that Raven was the maiden. This core reason has been the "justification" for yang hate and slander for years. Because she didn't say something immediately. And yes, the hate started way before v6, so there's no "they don't show her saying anything after that."

Why do I bring this up now? Because Ruby now knows Summer left with Raven. Raven would have more information about where Summer went, and possibly how she came in contact with Salem and what happened to her, etc.

But Ruby didn't say anything. She was given the exact same amount of time Yang was given. She even had a moment to talk about what she saw, but didn't mention it. They even had the same group hug. But I haven't seen a single post about it in the last 2 hours.

Let me be clear. I don't want Ruby to get any hate. I love Ruby. I just want to point out the huge double standard and illogical hate that brewed.

Personally, I do think Yang told the group about Raven, but after v5, Raven's involvement wasn't worth mentioning on screen again. Just as I believe Ruby will tell the others what she saw, even if they don't animate that conversation for everyone to see. Because team RWBY is like that. They trust each other.

Wlw fandoms can be... interesting sometimes.

Willow gave us a compelling and canon best friends-to-lovers romance in Kit and Jade, with the added twist that their complicated family histories should have made them enemies (and still might create a rift down the line, who knows).

And yet, there are those who'd rather crack ship Kit and Elora, whose relationship parallels the strangers to brothers bond between Madmartigan and Willow in the original movie. They're a huge part of the show's found family theme. Add to that the fact that the narrative clearly demonstrates Kit's devotion to Jade and seems to be establishing Graydon as Elora's "end game" love interest...

Ship and let ship, I guess, but dang I don't get it.

Guys, Please Watch Warrior Nun On Netflix

This show is honestly the kind you can't help but binge in one sitting which i rarely ever do...

Pls pls pls watch warrior nun. It's so incredibly written and has the most talented cast members along with the best wlw relationship I've ever seen on screen.

We don't know if Netflix are going to renew it for a S3 or not but it would really help if you could get as many people watching it as possible so that it doesn't get cancelled.

Also just to add, season 2 has Netflix’s highest audience scores ever which is pretty incredible considering Netflix didn't spend a penny on promotion!

The warrior nun fandom have been trying so hard to create visibility for the show by sharing it online but there's only so much we can do. We would really appreciate it if you could share it with your friends and family :)
