The past ten years have had its ups and downs, but while I did get to see some amazing movies, read some awesome books, and hear some awesome songs I might not have otherwise, it’s just not emotionally healthy for me to stay involved with this community (by which I mean Internet Reviewerdom as a whole, not just Chez) anymore.

I won’t burden you with the plethora of reasons why, but I think the fact that I just got more joy out of typing the word “plethora” than I have out of any of the YouTubers I’m subscribed to since Sunday says a lot on its own.

Living Out Loud (1998). It’s my favorite movie, and a movie that honestly should be better remembered than As Good As It Gets, a much more popular (Oscar winning even) film from around the same time. - Arkle

I very rarely use the Chez blog for personal stuff, but cousin Becky and her family are trying to get a home and need a bit of help to finish the last leg of the process. Becky and I basically grew up together. You know what they say about how when you’re an only child your cousins are not just often your first friends but also your siblings? I’ve joked that Lindsay Ellis is like the sister I always wanted, but Becky is essentially the sister I did get, and she could use the help. Give if you can signal boost if you can’t. :) - Arkle
