ok I have such mixed feelings on people shipping alastor with people because like on one hand firmly believe in people being able to ship whatever weird shit they want (as long as both are adults or both minors and are characters - shipping real life people is kinda weird to me) however on the other hand as an aroace person who has no interest in dating sex or anything at all its nice to see that represented in a character and it kinda rubs me the wrong way that people are totally ignoring that important part of his character and idk its probably just because there are like no romance/sex repulsed characters in media and it's nice to have one for once and idk like I just don't interact with it because it's not on me to yuck anyone elses yum but at the same time it's just UGH
