Hey there. Call me Rose. *waves* This blog is dedicated to "A Tale of Two Cities, The musical." *Recommended Recording: International Studio Cast i.e. OBC.* I make gifs, edits, videos... so on. I also post about other musicals from time to time. I hope you enjoy your time here!! (I own none of the shows or musicals I post about on this blog. I just make edits of the stuff I love. I claim no ownership of them. )
Quick reminder to anyone that is interested; The International Studio Cast Recording of A Tale is Two Cities is the DEFINITIVE version. Don't listen to the *inferior* concept album.
I really hope the powers that be release a 35th Anniversary Cast Recording of the Phantom of the Opera <3 I need John Riddle’s Raoul on CD <3 <3 <3 ALSO!! PLEASE GIVE ME A PROSHOT DVD OF THE 35TH BROADWAY CAST! FOR HISTORICAL PURPoSES!
I found an old post from when I first listened to the audio slime of POTO's final performance. Reading it again made me feel a little nostalgic 🌹🎵
You guys, I’m so grateful that John Riddle came back for those last performances of POTO. I’m so glad we ended the show with him as Raoul. He was the standout in the entire cast, I love his interpretation of my favorite character. I’m hoping beyond hope we get some kind of amazing proshot for that very last night of Phantom. (Honestly, I’d gladly take even a slime tutorial of the 15th or 16th but I don’t know how likely that is...)
Also, the audience was so enthusiastic. It makes me mist up a little.
I might not do all the prompts but I liked this one. If this is the only day of Raoulstine week I do, I feel good about it. A Crowd of Thousands gives me serious Raoul/Christine vibes, the whole childhood-sweethearts-to-lovers trope that I adore.
PS: I absolutely know that Raoul grew up with Christine, and no he didn’t just meet her at fourteen when he saved her scarf.
