“Humanity does not deserve dogs”… ••• What ever we did in on this 🌍that made us worthy of a dog’s truly unconditional love, I will never know… ••• And I will remain forever grateful for the k9s I’ve been so blessed to own in my lifetime. ••• It is my love for my own dogs that brings so much passion in my love of drawing and tattooing dogs for my clients. ••• I was just explaining to my client during her consul last week, that when I do a portrait of a dog (or any of my client’s believes pets), I mentally and emotionally switch places with them… • How would I want my OWN dog tattoo to look? How would I FEEL seeing my heart dog forever on my skin canvas? • I want to give my clients the same experience in their dog tattoo experience as I would seek out for myself. • I’m not the best artist in the World. I don’t have a wall lined with awards from countless tattoo conventions or my name and face in all the major publications and reality tv series that many of my colleagues have achieved (and I’m so damn proud of them!)… Because my goal when I came into the tattooing industry is the same goal I have today: I want my clients to FEEL something when they see the tattoos I do for them. “My Angel phone rang today…” ••• I have always been a very spiritual person (not to be confused with religious) and when I feel the calling deep inside my soul to give a gift to someone… I answer it… I may not know them well, or I may have known for years… ••• How I know them, how I met them, does not matter. I have always proclaimed my best work comes from the bay references. ••• Professional grade images are ALWAYS the best images to utilize for the highest quality portrait tattoos of both human and animals alike. ••• Lackluster, blurry, low-quality, and poor lighting images are never suitable references for a high quality tattoo portrait. ••• Why? Because I can only tattoo what I can see. And if all I see is a low quality image, I will refrain from utilizing that image for a tattoo reference as it would not produce the best possible outcome. ••• My clients where my artwork for the rest of their lives, and the quality of that artwork is my highest priority. ••• High quality images, along with appropriate sizing and placement are 3 areas that are the foundation for the most realistic and detailed outcome. ••• At least they are for me 🙏 ••• Because I care.
