Free veterinary care was provided & we registred all carriage horses in use. We educated horse owners through workshops & meanwhile lobbied for a ban on carriage horses. In 2010 the carriage horses were banned in Monas area yet now they are back, which is incredibly sad as the conditions for these horses are horrific. We received this report this afternoon about abuse to a caddy horse. It really breaks our heart! We urge the Government to BAN carriage horses to end their suffering! Please re post & send your protests to The President, Governor etc etc. make sure you tag them to get their attention & help end this! The report was sent by TJNDD via email. - Kami secara aktif bekerja menangani masalah Kuda andong/delman di Jakarta dan kota-kota lain di luar Jakarta sejak 2009. Dokter hewan dan pengobatan gratis telah kami sediakan untuk kuda-kuda andong yg digunakan. Kami mengedukasi para kusir dan pemilik kuda andong lewat workshop dan di saat bersamaan kami melobi pemerintah utk menghentikan pemakaian delman. Pada tahun 2010 delman/kuda andong telah berhasil dilarang di area Monas tapi sekarang kembali lagi beroperasi. Dimana hal ini sangat menyedihkan. Dan sore ini kami menerima laporan berupa video dimana seekor kuda andong disiksa dengan cara dipecut oleh kusirnya, sangat menghancurkan hati kami! ReGram @savethetiger News in from Orangutan Information Centre Sumatra. A joint team consisting of Gunung Leuser National Park authority and Forest Wildlife Protection Unit (ForWPU) made one significant catch on Sunday (27 August 2017). A poacher was busted and arrested along with one carcass of female Sumatran tiger (Panthera tigris sumatrae), as evidence. The poacher who is also a security guard for an oil palm company is currently detained for prosecution process. The Number of Sumatran tigers in GLNP has significantly decreased year after year. There are only about 100 Sumatran tigers left in the Leuser Ecosystemn. It is a very sad reality. #palmoil #wildlifepoaching #sumatrantiger ™@palmoilinvestigations
