i have no object permanence about myself. if i’m not in anyones eye sight i assume i have ceased to be. finding out people remember i exist, think about me, and even talk about me when i’m not actively in front of them is startling news every time it is brought to my attention

My Brain: Need sleep!! We did too many things and now I'm overexerted and overstimulated!
Me: Ok let's go to sleep then
My Brain: Can't sleep!! We did too many things and now I'm overexerted and overstimulated!
Me: You have the processing power of a super computer, and you use it for this?

audhd + cptsd rant ?
honestly being audhd (I personally would say especially with cptsd reflecting on myself and so many others Ik) is having a natural ability to be a master at oversharing and still remaining mysterious. like even when people think you've got me figured out, people close to me even, it's like ohh surprise no you don't!
like my therapist, who I am the most open with than anyone at this point with where I am at personally, who I have been seeing for monthssss btw (times not real so idek how long actually) about key things in my daily/weekly life for the first time because it came up around finding time to schedule our next session and she was like "omg I never knew these things about you" and "oh wow, I didn't realize you were so busy" lmaoooo yeah because that's kinda how my brain is with sharing info
but alsooooooo especially with therapy it's like hold up bitch how would we even have the time to talk about my daily life except when fuck shit happens when we both know how fucked up and complex my trauma is (I literally have "complex ptsd" although there's a lot I still can't share - due to selective mutism & shutdowns xoxo) and how fucked up my symptoms are and we aint even got enough fucking time to talk about that shit before we end up accidentally going over every session !!!!!!!
like every post: it started somewhere then it ended somewhere unexpectedly haha ! audhd + cptsd ranting is like my whole brand xoxo

just because someone can articulate their point better doesn’t make them right, it makes them articulated.

i hate "acoustic" jokes. you can't do something plain stupid and say oh im so acoustic. no. you're just stupid.
i hate "i have adhd today". no you don't have adhd if you're "crazy" and moving a lot. stop.
"oh im so delulu" no. you're not delusional. it's not funny.
stop using disabilities as a 1. joke 2. as an excuse when someone tells you to stop being annoying or acting stupid. stop.
edit: i'm tired of explaining to people this, I'm sorry i didint specify this, this is about neurotypicals.
i was really pissed while doing this post and wasn't really clear about this, so again, I'm sorry for this.

Shout out to all the autistic peeps who weren't diagnosed as kids even though they were very stereotypically autistic because they were afab and their families didn't know anything about autism so they just thought they were weird and lazy, but other kids could tell that they weren't like them so they got bullied into learning how to mask constantly (which put the diagnosis off for even longer) and then they kept on getting burnt out from masking all the time and they had to go to noiser more overwhelming environments as they got older until eventually it became very obvious that they were autistic again and they finally got a diagnosis (which is a whole other story on its own).

No matter how progressive or well-read you are, there are always going to be moments in your life where somebody pushes back against something that's so culturally ingrained you never even considered it before. And you'll say "Huh, it never occurred to me to challenge this but you're right" and that doesn't mean you were "morally toxic" before, it means you're a non-omniscient human capable of growth.
