Can we talk about this? Everyone is so focused on the page before with Hak confessing that the HHB is his family now–that I feel like this is getting overlooked.

The fact that the only one making him feel like he didn’t belong was her–because of her assumptions about his motivations and feelings. That wall of master/servant is directly impacted by this dynamic and for once Hak is voicing the negative aspect of maintaining the status quo as it is now.

Of all the amazing panels in this chapter, this is the one that strikes me the hardest. This is the one that makes me so proud of him. He’s literally telling her how this misunderstanding of his motivations for being there has HURT him and why it’s so important that she understand how it does.

For once he’s thinking of himself and how thing affect him and trying to bust down that wall that forces their distance. This–of everything in this chapter–will make the biggest impact on their relationship. Even more than the love confession, I think.

Die Antwort ist doch egal bei welchem Hund die selbe. Man muss einfach genau hinschauen, wo man ihn sich kauft. Ob nun ein Züchter, der unter einem gewissen Dachverband züchtet, ob nun ein Dissidenzzüchter, ob vom Tierschutz oder aus Privathand - letztlich kann man überall in die Tonne greifen, aber von l.n.r. steigt die Wahrscheinlichkeit, dass man ein schwarzes Schaf erwischt. Und sogenannte Wühltischwelpen werden immer häufiger, die Maschen der Vermehrer/Hundehändler immer ausgefuchster. Doch wenn man etwas Sachverstand mit sich bringt, dann sollte es keine Probleme geben. Am meisten muss man halt bei Welpen aufpassen. Man sollte sich das Umfeld des Züchters ansehen, das Muttertier, am besten den ganzen Wurf und wenn man die Möglichkeit hat, den Welpen schon vorab mindestens einmal, besser mehrmals besuchen, bevor man ihn abholt. Und dabei ist es nun wirklich völlig egal, ob es sich um einen Spitz oder Mops handelt!

Hallo Tanja, im kommenden Jahr planen meinen Freundin und ich uns einen japanischen Spitz zuzulegen. Jetzt liest man überall im Netz, dass man bloss keine "Wühltischhunde" oder Hunde von nicht gelisteten VDH Zwingern kaufen soll. Da du unserer Meinung nach eine eher erfrischende Haltung im Gegensatz zu den üblichen Forenmeinungen an den Tag legst und mit dem Herz bei der Sache zu sein scheinst, wollten wir dich daher um eine kleine Stellungnahme zu diesem Thema bitten.
