KICKBOXER 2- 1991 ⭐️⭐️⭐️
David Sloan is a kickboxer like his brothers before him. He just wants to teach but is being pressed by slimeballs who want to shut his gym down. Hes forced to fight competitively which puts him on a collision course with Dong Po, the Thai madman who killed his brothers...
Pretty fun action film. Filled with cliches and kicking. Not as good as the first one.

Id really hoped for more...
An outcast teen and her Frankenstein monster go on a killing spree for new parts...
Liked the style of the film. Some cool 80s vibes. Kathryn Newton is a good guy. A few funny lines here and their.
This just didnt come together that well for me. Thought the Frankenstein guy was rubbish and the film wouldve been better without him. Often felt like it was trying to be a future cult classic.

Lincoln Hawk (Sylvester Stallone) is a grizzly truck driver who makes money arm wrestling on the side. He reunites with the son he abandoned and takes him across the country while his evil rich stepdad sends goons to retrieve him. He must arm wrestle his way to success.
Its the American dream. Dumb movie, funny as hell. Its insane to build a full movie around arm wrestling which isnt even remotely interesting to watch. Him and his sons workout montage was hilarious.

Three childhood friends who have drifted apart dig up their time capsule after graduation. It reminds them of what used to be. They decide to reunite and take a cross country trip. Also, one of them is Britney Spears.
Fun teen movie! Nowhere near as bad as people say. Good 2000s vibes, pleasant atmosphere and some silly plot moments slide this nicely into the guilty pleasure zone. A bit too much singing. Britneys actually good and better than the other two gang members.

Dutch (Arnold Schwarzenegger) and his team are the best of the best. They're sent into the jungle to rescue some hostages. They soon realise theyre being targeted by a vicious monster who kills for sport...
Brilliant! Insanely fun action movie. Love all the fellas, good bunch of brothers. Love the predator, love his style. So much shooting? Quality film. Five stars.

I liked the setting and the atmosphere very much. A few scary spots. Sydney Sweeney was good. An enjoyable watch.

ALONE IN THE DARK- 2005 ⭐️
A paranormal investigator battles otherwordly demons in this insanely awful scifi horror film. Director by crazy German Director Uwe Boll who was famously sick of his films being panned and arranged a series of "exhibition boxing matches" with reviewers who had criticised him. He had been secretly training for months and destroyed them. Hilarious. He is truly awful as a director though this is one of the worst films ive ever seen and not in a funny way at all. Tara Reid and Christian Slater are both top guys and did nothing for me.
Imdb rating: 2.4. Rotten Tomatoes: 1%.

Peter LaFleur (Vince Vaughan) has 30 days to raise 50,000 dollars to stop his gym being bought out by his rival White Goodman (Ben Stiller). Him and his ragtag team of goofy guys enter a Las Vegas dodgeball tournament to win the money they need....
Classic 2000s comedy. Good underdog story and feelgood factor. Dumb as hell. White Goodman's scenes with Kate are all gold. Very easy to watch. Great movie.

A quiet office worker accidentally kills a colleague, she gets a taste for it them decides to take out the rest of the office.
Had high hopes for this but wasnt enjoyable at all. The Carol Kane character sucked and that was the main issue. Good supporting cast and 90s vibes but not enough to make this watchable.

A fairly enjoyable if at points amateurish movie. I dont love the stranger in his room that hes telling the story to. It doesnt seem even remotely believable. Nice to see Imperioli do scenes with Bobby.

Lindsay Lohan returns in this disastrously embarrassing romcom about a lady who goes to Ireland to attend a friends wedding and makes a wish to become the bride. It comes true and shenanigans follow. Complete trash.
Lohan deserves better she looks fantastic and shouldnt be surrounded by these bush league love interests. The whole time shes with either guy your just like, shes not actually gonna bang this guy? Is she?

Brilliant mockumentary.
Its funny enough to stand alone as a comedy especially for fans of the horror genre. Leslie explaining things like how he picks victims and how he disappears is hilarious and all really well thought out. The film also works as a slasher, plenty of good kills. Great lead performance from Nathan Baesel. A few good cameos. Excellent horror film. Love it.

GOON: LAST OF THE ENFORCERS- 2017 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Doug "The Thug" Glatt is still playing with his beloved Halifax Highlanders. After being brutally knocked out by the leagues toughest new goon "Anders Cain" he is forced to retire early and get a boring desk job. He also has a baby on the way with Eva. After Anders Cain is made captain of the highlanders and starts running the team into the ground, Doug dusts off his skates for one last brawl....
I love the first goon movie and remember being disappointed when i first saw this but liked it much more on rewatch. I think the first one is better in every way and theres a few things that dont work at all, (Jay Baruchel character really annoying, TJ Miller totally unfunny, story a bit all over the place) but overall theres plenty to enjoy about this sequel. Seann William Scott is great as Doug, brings a lot of heart and humour to the role. Bringing back Ross "The Boss" Rhea as a mentor for Doug was a great call, his storyline and comeback were one of the best parts of the film. Good to see my man Laflamme. Adding Elisha Cuthbert to a films not going to be bad is it. And plenty of good hockey fights. By no means perfect but an enjoyable watch for sure. Go HIghlanders!
