hi i have a silly little theory that i think everyone would like to hear:

Phichits song “shall we skate” could mirror victuuri (and foreshadow season 2)

i was listening to the yoi soundtrack on spotify when phichits piece, shall we skate, started playing. and it got me wondering if “the prince and the skater” was an actual movie. well it isn’t, but then i thought “besides it being part of phichits story, is there any other reason it’s mentioned?”

when you listen to the song, it’s about a skater who teaches a prince how to skate. i interpreted this in two ways:

1. the skater is victor, and the prince is yuri. victor shows up and teaches yuri to skate, as told in the song

OR

2. victor is the prince, and yuri is the skater. victor already has everything he could want, but yuri shows up and reignites his love and passion for skating, giving him new ideas and such, as told in the anime

so could this mean (and i know this is a reach but hear me out, from one starved yoi fan to another) that Phichits second song “Terra Incognita” foreshadows victuuri in season 2, continuing the prince and the skater timeline?

Tachihara is the only person Gin will talk to about this stuff so he was the first person Gin told when she thought she had a crush on Higuchi

Higuchi has a little sister who’s about 9, Gin treats her as if she’s her daughter

Higuchis sister does ballet, she’ll have little shows her class puts on and Higuchi started bringing Gin with her! sometimes after, they’ll take her to get ice cream in the park or let her pick something from a store!

Even after they’ve been dating for a while Higuchi still gets embarrassed when Gin walks in on her changing

Gin has everyone in her phone saved as their names except for Higuchis, which is “Higuchi <3 loml”

Gin is just a few inches taller than Higuchi so Higuchi wears platform boots to make up for it

Higuchi does Gins hair when they’re riding the train to work sometimes
