You sat on the sofa while cuddled up to Mick, his arms wrapped around your frame and your head on his chest, legs tangled in a knot of pure love. You adored lazy days like these. While it was amazing to be out and about with your lover, you appreciated the quiet days. Nothing and no one disturbed the two of you, and you were able to love peacefully. He refused to let you go on these days, cherishing every moment he gets to spend with you in his arms before he’s whisked away by his demanding job.

One of Mick’s hands were tracing shapes on your arm, while the other sat comfortably inside your palms. If there was one thing you loved most about Mick, it was his hands. The way they looked, the way they felt holding your own, the comfort they brought you. Micks’ hands were like an anchor, keeping you grounded and afloat. His grasp on your hands was always firm, but gentle, reminding you that he’s there for you and forever will be.

Softly tracing the veins on the back of Mick’s hands, you wondered how they’d look with rings on, more specifically, with a silver band wrapped around his ring finger. His fingers were long and deft perfect for rings, but your mind couldn’t stop thinking about a wedding ring and what it meant.

Mick felt your fingers stop moving, frozen near his ring finger and he immediately knew what you were thinking about. Mick knew he wanted to spend forever with you the moment he laid his eyes on you. As cheesy as it sounds, he truly did fall in love with you at first sight. There wasn’t a single future he imagined that didn’t include you. You were the light of his life, his one true love, he’d marry you in a heartbeat if you two weren’t so young. The last thing he’d want to do is scare you away or make you feel pressured to say yes.

So instead, Mick gently grasps your hand in his and softly kisses each knuckle before pressing a firm kiss to the top of your head.

‘I’m going to marry you,’ he whispers against your hairline. ‘When we’re both ready, I’m getting down on one knee and putting a ring on your finger, I promise.’ he said, sealing it with another kiss.

Your heart warmed at his words, and as you turned and looked into eyes, you saw nothing but security and warmth in the blue of his eyes. The only thought running through your head was how you’re ready to marry him now.

hey guys, long time no see 😭😭 im so sorry for being awol for so long, but yk when life hits you, it hits you hard, and all of a sudden, months have flown by

anyways i just wanted to say that with matchups, idk if anyones still waiting for them (probably not tbh) but my inbox has been cleared so if you sent a request in im so sorry they're gone now.

i have 5 more in my drafts, which i will post over the course of the next day or so and them that's matchups done.

once my finals are done, i'll reopen them brand new, and hopefully, i won't leave halfway through this time lmaoo 😭😭 matchups are still currently closed, though.
