Maki Zen'in vs. Ryomen Sukuna
The past two weeks Maki has faced off against Sukuna. While it seems that Maki and Sukuna's face-off has followed the traditional formula of every individual Sukuna has squared up against so far. That being Sukuna fights them trying to bring out their best, praises them before swiftly defeating them. It's followed the formula so far, with Gojo, Kashimo, Higuruma, and Yuta. Yuta surveys their "taste" as unique sorcerers, and then quickly consumes them.
However, I am going to argue that there's a reason Sukuna takes a special interest in Maki that differs from Gojo Kashimo, Higuruma and Yuta and it's because the two of them foil each other.
1. Skin and Blood, Bone and Marrow
To badly quote Kant, and Johane Fichte thesis and anti-thesis are both necessary in order to make a statement.
Immanuel Kant's Critique of Pure Reason (1781) created the thesis / antithesis dyad, within two statements.
Thesis: "The world had a beginning in time, and is limited in regars to space."
Antithesis: "The world has no beginning and no limits in space, but is infinite, in respect to both time and space."
Fichte turned this dyad into a triad. A set of two contradictory ideas that is resolved with a third statement, synthesis. In order to make of synthesize a new idea, thesis and anti-thesis must meet first.
Are synthetic judgements a priori (before / precending) possible?
No synthesis is possible without a preceding anti-thesis . As little as antithesis without synthesis, or synthesis without anti-thesis, is possible; just as both cannot be born without thesis.
In other words no idea cannot exist without the opposite idea, and no new statements / judgement can be made without exploring these two ideas in opposition to one another.
I spent so much time explaining this philosophical concept because fights in Jujutsu Kaisen aren't just excuses for Akutami Gege to add more elaborate rules to the power system, and give the power-scaling bros more material to argue about. They are a clash of ideals between the two characters fighting, oftentimes with both characters embodying opposite philosophies. At this point it's not subtext, but literally text, Sukuna calls fights a clash of ideals.

Sukuna is not just fighting to physically conquer Yuji, at this point he wants to win in a clash of ideas to, he wants to disprove the ideals Yuji carries in his heart and all that he represents.
Mahito too, all the way back in Shibuya, called his fight with Yuji a clash of truths, rather than the fight between good and evil that Yuji imagined it to be.

Thesis and Anti-thesis are both necessary to make a statement. Yuji cannot prove his ideals to be true, without clashing with Sukuna first, and the same for Sukuna, Sukuna can no longer disprove Yuji's ideals as false without recognizing his ideals and fighting them head on.
There's a statement on twitter I want to steal that summarizes the matchup of every mini-arc in the Sukuna fighting arc so far.

To summarize Lmfalolawholebunchanumbers point, Mahito and Sukuna acting as antagonists challenge the ideals of the protagonists, but while Mahito represents the reverse of humanity's ideals, Sukuna is against the concept of hodling onto any consistent ideology himself. Sukuna in fact believes that all the ideals of the sorcerers that challenged him in the past were false and flimsy, and is troubled by the fact that Yuji holds onto his ideals no matter what.
I already somewhat explored this in this meta, Sukuna's Anti-Enlightement. Where I argue that Sukuna's ideals resemble nihilism, but even then I wouldn't label Sukuna a nihilist because Nihilism is still a set of beliefs and Sukuna doesn't seem to hold onto any consistent ideology or belief system at all. Trying to assign any human branch of thought or motivation to Sukuna doesn't quite work, because Sukuna's point of view isn't one of a human, but more like an inhuman curse, or even a deity. In other words a calamity.

Nietzsche used the abyss as a metaphor to summarize the unknowable psychological complexity of human beings. You stare at the abyss trying to comprehend it. Which means when facing the abyss, the abyss forms in your mind. Anyone who tries to understand humans must face the fact they are incomprehensible. Anyone who tries to create some meaning to life must confront the fact that the world is so ridiculously overcomplicated and random it's impossible for the human mind to fully comprehend.
The abyss as it exists is a place of danger where it's easy to lose sight of your search for meaning, or even yourself, but in order to grow you have to confront the deepest, darkest part
Anyone who tries searching for the truth, risks confronting the idea that they may be wrong, risks questioning their values, risks confronting the fact that what they believed meaningful might have no meaning at all - and therefore the abyss widens inside of them, they might abandon idealism all together.
Anyway, enough boring philosophy more or less every single person who fights Sukuna risks having their ideas feel false. Or to paraphrase the twitter user I quoted above, most of the characters that try projecting their own human ideals onto Sukuna, find not only do they misunderstand Sukuna entirely, but Sukuna doesn't care about their ideals and disproves them.
Gojo and Kashimo (and before them Yorozu) all try to fight Sukuna, believing they could make Sukuna understand them and understand Sukuna in turn only to find they were misreading Sukuna entirely.

Gojo makes a big deal of trying to bring out Sukuna's best to prove that Sukuna is not alone standing on the top, only to be met with Sukuna basically going "I don't really care."

When you confront the abyss, the abyss opens up inside of yourself and your ideas may prove to be false. No one who's faced Sukuna so far, has been able to conquer that abyss, in fact Sukuna keeps rendering their ideals to be false. Perhaps because they are just projecting ideas onto the abyss, looking at Sukuna instead of looking at the abyss inside of themselves.
They want something from Sukuna that Sukuna can't give them, they're looking externally for Sukuna to give them easy answers instead of looking internally. Not one of them is able to form a new idea or make a statement because they're not willing to confront anti-thesis.
The exception to this pattern so far is Maki. There's a reason I've been hammering on about the abyss so much, it's because in this most recent chapter Sukuna calls Maki "a true void."

In one sense, there's the technical power system reason why he calls Maki a void. Maki is someone who gave up all cursed energy in order to strengthen her physical body, whereas in comparison Yuji who also mainly fights with his body and super strength, but unlike Maki, Yuji hasn't broken away from cursed energy and is instead soaked in Sukuna's cursed energy.

However, not only has Maki cast off cursed energy, unlike Yuji who has suppressed his own identity to become a cog in favor of his ideal of having a role and supporting other people, Maki has let go of the idea of protecting others and instead focused entirely on the idea of improving her own strength.
Though, not entirely by choice as Mai sacrificed herself, but Maki's awakening and becoming of herself happened when she let go of Mai, and protecting Mai or reforming the Zen'in for Mai's sake. Not only did Mai take cursed energy with her when she died allowing Maki to break free of cursed energy, but she also let go of her ideal of protecting Mai. Losing her cursed energy went hand in hand with losing her "goal" and almost immediately afterwards she loses her goal of trying to prove herself to the Zen'in or become clan head and just exterminates them entirely.

Everything Maki lived for is gone, so what does Maki live for now? Herself mainly, and the concept of total freedom that comes with no longer tying yourself to others.

In that way, I'd say that Maki almost resembles Sukuna the most, because if Sukuna represents the void that others must confront Maki is the only character that has opened up the void inside of herself. As Sukuna said unlike Yuji who's half-assed in his idealism, Maki's shaved away everything and is contemplatng the void. Almost to reflect this, Gege's done away with most of Maki's internal narration and most of her internal dialogue is focused on either how to win, and how to bring out the fullest of her abilities.

Maki's opened up and contemplated the void inside herself, and in that way she's done away with self-doubt like most of the characters are facing, she's not projecting her anxieties onto Sukuna or wishing for him to answer or resolve her identity crisis like Gojo and Kashimo. She doesn't even have an identity crisis.
In fact, Maki and Sukuna resemble each other so much by both having a void inside of them it makes me wonder if Twin Theory is true that Sukuna also achieved his perfection in Jujutsu by either fusing with his twin in Uterus or cannibalizing his twin somehow.
Even in the fight itself, Maki's the one who's most laser focused on winning, whereas Yuji and Yuta's strategies fail because they're too concerned with saving Megumi who himself at the moment does not wish to be saved. (Saving Megumi is a good thing though, I'm just making a point that Maki much like Sukuna only sees herself winning the fight and prioritizes that above everything else. It's not like she's against saving Megumi either she didn't argue against Yuta and Yuji taking a shot at it). It's just she's the only one who like Sukuna only sees the fight in front of her and doesn't worry about other people. She's laser focused on the win is what I'm saying).

I don't think it's just the fact that Maki has cast away cursed energy that's drawn Sukuna's attention, but the fact that while she represents his anti-thesis focusing on only strengthening the human body, they also share many similarities between them.

They're both the void.
Sukuna even says that Maki's existence denies Jujutsu itself.

Sukuna says that Maki is the only person who's forced him to have a role, and in a way that's true, because by denying Jujutsu, she represents the void that Sukuna has to contemplate now. In a way she's played an uno-reverse card to Sukuna's philosophy of revolving his entire life around strengthening Jujutsu and being the height of Jujutsu.
Sukuna now has to prove Jujutsu's superiority and contemplate the fact that is ideal might in fact be wrong.

Sukuna and Maki both represent the ideal of what one can achieve in the pursuit of strengthening the body, versus strengthening Jujutsu, Hajime even comments that Sukuna's body is absolute perfection.

Not only that, but they both represent the opposing philosophies established by Kenjaku and Yuki, Kenjaku sees the future evolution of humanity as optimizing cursed energy, and Yuki envisions a future of breaking away from cursed energy entirely and even namedropped Toji and Maki both as examples of those ideals.

There's a reason that Gojo is troubled by Toji and remembers his loss to Toji years after the fact, Toji deeply troubles Gojo not because he beat him in a fight and caught him off guard but also because his existence challenged everything Gojo believed to be true.
Gojo is the first inheritor of the six-eyes, and Limitless in hundreds of years, he exists solely for Jujutsu as Nanami said, he was also someone who was arrogant at seventeen and was handed everything at birth, who has always been held up on a pedestal by Jujutsu Society. Yet the only person who seriously challenged Gojo and forced him to evolve before Sukuna rolled around was Toji, someone who is the scapegoat of Jujutsu Society, and who is looked down upon by the the three clans. Suddenly, the inherent superiority that Gojo believed in, all the things he thought made him great b/c he was the peak of the Jujutsu world was called into question if a mere monkey could challenge him.

Toji too, stuck around and fought Gojo because he felt a pressing need to disprove the philosophies and ideals that Gojo represented. However, Toji in this fight lost because he succumbed to the void.

He deviated away from his set of ideals and fell prey to his inferiority complex rather than staying true to himself in face of the void.
Gojo's enlightenment itself comes from facing the void that is Toji Zen'in, and then conquering that void by conquering his own biases against Toji that made him let his guard down. Yet, his defeat against Sukuna comes from the fact that he couldn't conquer the void, he couldn't find his own answers instead relying on Sukuna for an answer and because of that Sukuna reduced him back to a human being again with the world cutting slash that cut through the infinity.
In other words in just two chapters Maki vs. Sukuna have embodied a philosophical battle that has been raging in Jujutsu Kaisen since basically Hidden Inventory, and maybe even the beginning of the manga itself and it is what do your ideals, the ideas you live for mean in face of the void / death. Are they worth holding onto, can you create a synthesis from confronting and overcoming your antithesis, or will you too succumb to the meaninglessness that Sukuna represents?
How do you find meaning in a world where death is random, where anyone can die at any moment, a world that is inherently unfair where good things happen to bad people, and selfish monsters like Sukuna get whatever they want who win because they are selfish and step all over people and take what they want.
Confronting Sukuna means confronting the fact that the world may be empty, and we may all be just killing time until we die.

The lines skin and blood, bone and marrow which is what Sukuna uses to refer to the source of is strength (Jujutsu) and the source of Maki's strength (the physical body) are a reference to Bodirahma asking his disciples to understand his teachings.

"You have attained my skin. You have attained my flesh. You have attained my bones. You have attained my marrow."
In other words neither Sukuna and Maki are entirely right, the true understanding comes not from Jujutsu, or the Body, but from both, from skin, flesh, bones and marrow.
In other words, a statement requires thesis and anti-thesis. It's not Maki and Sukuna that are right, and something can be learned from the clash of their ideals.
What I'm saying is basically that JUJUTSU KAISEN is a story with THEMES and I love it.

In Pokemon a level 5 Corphish with 196 attack EVs and a beneficial Nature holding the Life Orb item with Adaptability as its Ability using Aqua Jet on a level 5 Onix with 0 HP and 0 Defense EVs holding the Eviolite item in Sun on a critical hit will have a 6.25% chance 50% damage and a 93.75% chance to deal 5% damage.
196+ Atk Life Orb Adaptability Corphish Aqua Jet vs. 0 HP / 0 Def Eviolite Onix in Sun on a critical hit: 1-10 (5 - 50%) -- 0.4% chance to 2HKO
Possible damage amounts: (1, 1, 1, 1, 1, 1, 1, 1, 1, 1, 1, 1, 1, 1, 1, 10)
Because of how the damage calculation formula works:
Damage = ((2xLevel/5 +2) x Power x A/D /50 +2) x weather x critical x random x STAB x type x other (there are other modifiers but I'm only including the relevant ones)
power is the base power of the move used, A and D are the attack and defense and STAB is the same type attack bonus (x1.5 if the user's type matches the move used or x2 if the user has Adaptability as its ability and its type matches the move used), type is for type matchups, and other is for items and abilities.
And with the numbers that it would be:
Damage = ((2x5/5 +2) x 40 x 18/534 /50 +2)
Damage = 2 (all decimals are rounded down)
And then it calculates all the other multipliers x0.5 from the Sun so Damage = 1 and then x1.5 the critical hit Damage = 1.5 but all decimals are rounded down so damage = 1 again so the critical hit did literally nothing.
Next it calculates the random factor basically it multiplies your damage by 0.85-1 and all the 0.85-0.99 would get rounded down to 0, 15/16 outcomes will deal 0 damage and 1 of them will deal 1 damage.
2x1 from Adaptability STAB = 2, 4x2 from the super effective = 8, and 8x1.3 from Life Orb = 10 but 15/16 all those multipliers are going into the number 0 so the possible damage amounts would be: (0, 0, 0, 0, 0, 0, 0, 0, 0, 0, 0, 0, 0, 0, 0, 10) and at the very end of the calculation it turns any 0s into 1s.

From running these, does it seem like older Pokemon tend to be more popular versus newer ones, or is it any pokemons game? I feel like I tend to see older 'mons winning in matchups against newer ones the majority of the time, but that might be some sort of confirmation bias on my end.
Whew ok! Sorry this took me so long to reply to. This kinda caught me right at the start of the busy period, and I didn't want to give it a half-assed answer, especially because I wasn't really super sure if I was seeing any notable trends. (Most of the time I dedicate to maintaining this event is spent setting things up instead of reviewing data!)
Here are some rough and probably not precisely accurate numbers:

For my health I don't have the time to write out proper descriptions, so hopefully my discussion will be helpful enough, especially because it can be fairly easy to draw some inaccurate conclusions from this specifically because it uses a lot of hard numbers vs ratios.
You can find that down here ⬇ (readmored for scrollability)
First table:
Gen 2 and Gen 7 (!) are performing the strongest overall. Gen 9 and Gen 5 (!!) are performing the most poorly. I figure Gen 9 isn't faring too well for a multitude of reasons -- most notably, I think, people haven't really had time to grow attached to these guys yet. To speculate on Gen 5, I have a few theories. Gen 5 introduced a lot of new Pokemon, interest gets spread out (though I am surprised that age-group nostalgia isn't helping it more along here...). If I recall correctly, a lot of the designs were also quite heavily critiqued, though I've never paid much attention to that sort of commentary.
I'm honestly surprised that Gen 1 is that close to even, but then I don't think it helps that a lot of the less popular designs keep popping up to be repeatedly swept... The data set isn't large enough to avoid being easily influenced by various sub-tournaments haha.
Second table:
This one looks at each generation and how it compares to matches where it was paired with older generations. Earlier generation results are less helpful because, for instance, Gen 2 only has to contend with Gen 1, but Gen 8 has to contend with Gens 1-7... I wasn't sure how to break this up more properly, and I've already spent so much time on this 😅 I could probably figure it out with time but I don't want to keep this ask on hold for like 3 more months. I think it's interesting to see how notably well Gen 7 performs here, like it has a notable number of wins though it's dealing with 6 entire generations.
Anyway, more red in the ratios (basically, more instances where Pokemon of a given generation lost to older gens more than they won) supports the hypothesis.
Third table:
Basically the opposite of the above. More green means more generations that fared better against the generations after it. Gen 5 is the only one who doesn't have this, but it's even. It's won as many Gen 6-9 polls as it's lost
Gen 8 being the strongest here is a little funny, but it just means that Gen 8 has been performing super well when specifically placed in contrast to Gen 9. The fact that there are so few polls in this category probably is why the ratio can get so high at all though.
Generation Gap Average:
This one's a bit hard for me to explain but it basically is concerned with how much the earliest generations perform against the latest generations, but close-generation matches take a lot of weight out of the end result. Basically though a smaller number means that the Generations aren't AS stratified. There's enough love for newer Gens vs older ones. This number hovered much closer to 1 for most of the data gathering.
Idk if this is helpful, but here's the formula:
=AVERAGE(ARRAYFORMULA(IF(B2:B-A2:A<>0, B2:B-A2:A,)))
The A col lists the winners and the losers are in B, so it's literally just averaging the difference between the winner and the loser. The best conclusion we can draw from this is that there is a preference toward older generations. If there was a preference toward newer ones, the number would be negative.
Old/New:
Literally just the number of older generation wins divided by newer generation wins, which you can see right next to that, so yeah older Gens, relative to the other Gen in the poll, have quite a bit of a lead.
Other notes:
In more recent polls, voting is actually skewing more toward later generations, but at the start, which notably voted on starters, voting was HEAVILY skewed toward older generations vs newer ones. It was unfortunately because I noticed this that I ended up having to collect data from all the (relevant) polls because those trends pretty strongly impacted the results...
Anyway! I don't feel confident to make any conclusions outright, but now at least we have an idea of what the numbers look like right now! Lots can be gleaned from this.

The state of the Losers' Bracket is such that only results from it will be required before we can start its next round, so that means once the final poll of the Winners' Bracket is up, the Losers' Bracket will run again using the results from its previous round, without waiting for the polls in the Winners' Bracket to conclude.

Ultimate Doctor Who Poll Round 1 - Matchup 24

128: The Pyramid at the End of the World - Season 10, Episode 7: After the Doctor received a message from his virtual self in the Extremis simulation, Bill is taken by the United Nations Secretary General to meet with The Doctor, who has been temporarily named the President of Earth. A 5,000 year old pyramid has appeared in Turmezistan, at a key military point between the U.S., Russia, and China. In the meantime at a biochemical lab, two workers are shown going mixing chemicals. As one worker broke her glasses, she asks her coworker, who is hungover, to do it. The Monks watch this through a security camera. The hungover scientist accidentally enters 10 times the amount of one chemical into the mixture.
The Doctor greets a Monk at the Pyramid, who says that his race will be invited to enslave the Earth, and sets all clocks on the world to a doomsday clock. The Doctor allows the military to attack the pyramid, but the Monks teleport any weapons launched at them a safe distance away, and teleport the ships and their crews to be safely on the ground. They then invite the Doctor and the world leaders to talk. They claim the end of life on Earth has begun, and that they will stop it if they submit to the Monks rule.
At the biochemical lab, the scientist realizes that something has gone badly wrong with the formula, but in his panic, he does not properly close the airlock door.
The Doctor deduces that the Monks placed the pyramid in a war zone as a distraction, and that war will not be what destroys the Earth. They question whether bacteria could be the cause. Looking into potential sources, the Doctor decides to send a signal to all the security at biochemical labs across the world, and sees which one the Monks turn back on. He then goes to the lab, where one human has already been infected and several plants used for study have died. The Doctor realizes the lab has a filtration system to take toxins out of the air which would release the virus into the atmosphere. The only way to stop it is to destroy the lab.
The Monks deny several requests from world leaders for help as their request is impure, but recognize Bill's authority as a representative of the Doctor. She stalls for time as the Doctor works on the bomb, but he gets stuck in the airlock, and is unable to activate the release code due to his blindness. Realizing the Doctor will die if she does not do this, she makes a deal with the Monks to restore the Doctors sight. He escapes, and the Monks take control of the planet.

129: The Eaters of Light - Season 10, Episode 10: The Doctor takes Bill and Nardole back in time to investigate what happened to the missing 9th Roman Legion. They separate to look for the soldiers. Bill is chased by a Pictish girl and falls into a hole where a Roman soldier is hiding. The Doctor and Nardole come upon a Roman corpse, which suffered from decades of lack of exposure to the sun. He thinks that there is an alien on Earth that is either eating or harvesting solar energy. They go to find Bill, but are ambushed by the Picts, who take them prisoner.
Bill and the Roman are attacked by the creature, and the soldier she was with is killed as they make their way to the rest of his comrades. The Doctor and Nardole escape from the Picts, one of whom is their "gatekeeper" who claims to have defeated the Romans. The Doctor sees a stone structure and as the sun rises, a portal opens and he walks into it. He sees several creatures, then walks back out to find Nardole chatting with the Picts, who tells him that it's been two days. Speaking to Kar, the gatekeeper, she reveals that her people have been guarding the gate and fighting off the monsters as they came through, once a generation, but that she let one out to destroy the 9th legion. She claims that it is weak and will die soon, but the Doctor counters that it is getting stronger the more it consumes.
Bill leads the Romans to the Picts and the Doctor. The Doctor extends his translation technology to allow them to speak to each other. They agree to work together to fight the creature, and lure it back to the portal. So far the gatekeepers stalling it for a few minutes in there leads to 60-70 years of peace outside. Ok, now that you’ve sent your answer to my previous question, I have an updated version for reasons I’ve explained in the images I’ll send you in DMs:

No hard feelings here but I don't think you sort of understand the powerscaling of the Ultra canon here because this is a total mismatch when u have your version of KG, Origin and Prime MG being on the level of Ken because you're then talking about very, VERY ridiculous powerscaling that's way beyond planet busting alr
Plus your version of OG Ultraman, if he's Specium Ray is indeed the same strength as Taro's (base) Cosmo Miracle Ray (which should surpass Cosmo Miracle Especially at the minimum, essentially being able to completely wipe out a High Tier New Gen Ultra), your version of Legendary Godzilla 2021's 200% atomic breath wouldn't even remotely compare to the former, like it might as well not even be there
Overall I think it'll help if u take a look at a very recent ask that I answered to really understand just how vast and ridiculous the scaling of the Ultra canon is (albeit its a very rough summary as I did a detailed one quite some time back):
So if Prime MG > Origin MG > Ken,
Prime MG literally stomps most of the Ultra canon
But then this would present a rather ridiculous scaling in your question as you only have a mere 200% Legendary Goji and putting him essentially against a Ken, whom in canon, is far beyond an Ultra Brother level ultra
Which for example Leo, whom is already a planet buster back in his series
Much less Taro whom is a genius that has (and could) learn, copy fighting styles, energy compositions of other ultras and even merge them
(I'm assuming that you're not even talking about the Cosmo Miracle Ray from Super Taro, which is a pure fusion ultra that's even more ridiculous in the actual ultra canon scaling)
And even then, I don't think a max powered Cosmo Miracle Ray from base Taro could even faze a Ken-level being (See first Zero Movie where Belial literally steamrolled multiple Ultra Brother-level Ultras)
And considering your version of KG was able to almost kill Ken, this means he could at least tank whatever Ken could dish out, which by proxy, would put the durability this version of KG far above planet-buster (likely star-buster). Then this wouldn't even make sense as later the same KG's durability was overcome by a base Taro-level attack, so you literally have a contradictory power scaling situation here.
Neither MK1, 2 nor even your boosted Gilvaris does not even remotely come close to being a planet buster
I posted a calculation that shows an Ultra Brother level Ultra is at least 1 000x stronger than a New Gen Super form
MK2 got smoked by 3 New Gen Power and Super forms
Based on the Geed Movie and the recent Z appearance, Gilvaris is probably at most on the level of 1 New Gen Movie form only
A mere 500% boost would literally make no difference here. And I have no idea what amount of % boost would even bump Gilvaris to Ken-level, much less above that
(Technically now that I think about it after writing this post, we could calculate somewhat by assuming every 5 000 years = 1000x average level New Gen, but we have to also literally assume something else that's most likely wrong, that being the power [assume M78 formula] scales linearly [because we don't have the slightest idea what is the general proportionality constant for the scaling] That way, to reach Ken, Gilvaris' stats at the minimum has to be boosted by about 3 200 000% literally)
I don't even think their hax ability of teleporting the enemy into their digital dimension would even remotely faze Prime MG, whose above Ken-level (assuming their energy could even interact the same way as the Ultras' light in Gilvaris' digital dimension)
So yeah, calling this matchup a mismatch would be an understatement of the century here tbh
In general, it's better to not include any beings above the level of the Ultra Brothers because the scaling in ultra canon is more "realistic" and "reasonable" up till the Ultra Brothers level (tho even here, it starts to get real wonky alr as seen from my answers on other asks, but this has somewhat gotten abit easier to discuss with the introduction of the Absolutians, which are most likely on the same level)

If I could offer some fresh faces to play with, perhaps we could get some regressors Trumpet and Skeptic hcs? Maybe something like a playdate?
♡ This is a lethal matchup. It's a bit clunky since I just do not see these two getting along, but I hope it's good enough!

♡ Koku has a very broad regression range, able to shift from one to thirteen depending on the mood of the day. He's rather dramatic in his younger space and absolutely cheeky in his older space. His age can slide up or down during the time he is regressed and it will often show.
♡ On the other hand, Tomoyasu's regression is strictly in the small range. He will either be one or two, and is very fussy on either end. The poster child for the phrase, "Terrible Twos".
♡ Tomoyasu is also not a social tyke. He is a solitary creature that would prefer to dismantle a Blu-ray player with a rattle than engage in a playdate with anyone. If you're lucky he might do parallel play.
♡ Koku is not very lucky.
♡ Really, he doesn't even know how he gets roped into these dysfunctional events (it's Curious's fault), but no matter what they always happen and follow a very similar formula.
♡ Step 1: Curious leaves the room.
♡ Step 2: Absolute baby anarchy.
♡ What happens between steps one and two? Typically Koku will start around thirteen to ten and politely tell Miss Chitose that he can handle a toddler for a measly thirty minutes! Surely nothing bad will happen this time.
♡ Chitose, praying to whoever will listen, lets him try to handle little Tomoyasu on his own in hopes that he will wise up next time. (He will not and this will happen again.)
♡ It starts quiet, Koku opting to read while Tomoyasu plays with his toys, when the toddler will ultimately choose violence and throw a plush block at his playmate's head.
♡ Block time is then brought to an abrupt close and an activity with less projectiles is chosen: TV.
♡ TV is brought to a quick close when Tomoyasu gets bored and starts pulling on Koku's ahoge and he threatens to call the police on a Fisher-Price phone.
♡ At that point, Koku would have slid down to about seven and decide that coloring is easy and inoffensive enough! They can do that very far apart...
♡ Tomoyasu claims all the crayons and leaves Koku with the Crayola markers, hissing like a cat on its hackles. Koku is now six and losing patience.
♡ Thankfully, Chitose usually enters at the twenty minute mark and declares a swift nap for the younger boy! Koku sees an opportunity.
♡ Koku slides down to a cool four after drawing on Tomoyasu while he's sleeping and tells Chitose he would like to speak to a lawyer when asked if he was the one that doodled on the baby.
♡ False accusations, come back with a warrant.
♡ They'll inevitably be doing this again next week with a net zero knowledge gain.
