Calum Hood - Y/N imagine

Y/N POV:

Today was the day the boys were coming home from tour, I had mostly everything ready waiting their arrival like the balloons in the foyer and living room, the huge sign saying welcome home, and all the boys favourite drinks on the kitchen island along with a stack of pizza boxes as I ordered their favourite pizza's .

I was now just waiting for the boys' parents to come and I also invited Mali as we had planned this whole get party together. I then sat on the couch in a deep thought about how excited I was to see Calum, he has been my best friends since we were young as our parents use to have get togethers regularly when we were younger.

I snapped back in to reality when I heard knocking , I immediately jumped off the couch and headed to the door, as I opened the door all the way I was greeted by the boys parents and my parents along with Mali. I greeted them all as I stepped aside so they could come in , Joy and Karen went to the kitchen placing bags on the counter with all the boys favourite snacks I then closed the door and went in the living room where everyone was gathered . I sat next to Mali as we started chatting about some random shit and out of nowhere she said to me "y/n when are you Calum getting together?" I could feel my face burn turning a bright red, "Mal you know - " *knock knock* " I'll get it!"

I jumped sprinting my way over the door knowing exactly who was on the other side, everyone then crowed behind me as I giggled swinging the door open seeing 4 of my favourite guys "YAYY!!" I screamed scaring them, I then ran to them as they embraced me into a group hug as we broke apart they headed in to meet their parents hugging them and their parents kissed them on the cheek, after they had all reunited I went into the kitchen getting a glass to get a drink when I felt hands wrap around my waist I flinched nearly dropping the glass but quickly caught it with my other hand as I heard someone whispering in my ear saying "did you miss me?" Sending shivers down me, I quickly turned around as the hands were still on my waist I looked up and saw Calum, his perfectly tan skin glowing under the white light in the kitchen, his brown eyes brighter than ever as he slowly cupped my cheek in his large hand "well y/n did you miss me" he said softly whilst playing with the curls in my hair,

"yeah" I said quietly and slowly nodding my head as I felt myself blushing. Calum's face glowed as his smile grew a lot wider from my answer , he then kissed my cheek and grabbed my hand leading us into the living room where everyone was sat/standing chating about random things.

After about 10 minutes being in the room I was dragged out of the room into the kitchen by Mali, "woah" I said as she had a grin on her face "okay hunny I saw you and Calum in the kitchen, he kissed you! are you two finally together?" she said jumping up and down in excitement, I let out a nervous laugh "no Mali he just asked me if I missed him I told him I did and he just kissed me on my cheek, but damn I wish he would have said something else." I said as we both let out a little giggle "what are my two favourite girls laughing about" Calum said walking in refilling his glass,

"nothing you've gotta worry about mister." I said as I turned around , a smirk forming on my lips."woah girl, when did you get feisty."

calum said looking at me as he bit his bottom lip along with winking his right eye. I could feel my face burning turning a bright red,

I slowly started sipping on my glass of apple juice that was on the kitchen table as I saw Mali leaving the kitchen elbowing Calum as she left. "So erm y/n, now that I'm back, I was wondering if you'd like to go out for dinner with me sometime like the old days." Calum said as he walked towards me, "Sure, when?" I said, placing my glass back on the table. "Tomorrow 8 pm I'll pick you up from hkme." Calum said, moving closer to me, placing a kiss on my cheek, moving his head back, and our eyes we connected, giving me a wink and leaving the kitchen.

** fast forward to the date**

Today was the day I was going to dinner with Calum, I lay in bed as I only had plans for the evening, so I was pretty much free all day. whilst laying in bed, i heard my phone buzz. i quickly grabbed it from my bedside table to see if it was a message from Calum.

Calum:

hey princess, i can't wait for our date night tonight, dress up fancy and I'll pick you up at 8pm, have a good day can't wait to see you. Xx

"Date night" I said staring at the message.

Y/N:

Hi Cal, can't wait either I'll see you tonight. Xx

I texted back. I then turned my phone off and laid back with my head against my headboard. I looked out the window whilst I gathered my thoughts .

Calum and I always went out before he left for tour but not once did we ever consider it as a date?

Whilst laying in bed, my wild thoughts took over my mind, and that was until I looked to my left to see the digital clock flashing 12pm, which indicted me to get my lazy ass out of bed. I jumped out of bed, throwing on an oversized hoodie and neatly doing my bed . I then went into the bathroom to do my skincare and brushed my teeth. While doing so, I could hear my phone vibrating on my bedside table . I ignored it and carried on brushing my teeth . Once I was done, I headed downstairs with my phone in my hand.

The house was empty, which meant my mum, dad, and my brother had gone to work already. I poured myself a cup of coffee and sat on the bar stool which was around the kitchen island and unlocked my phone to see Mali had messaged me over 35 times, I started to reply as I heard a banging at the door which shook me out off my skin making me spill my coffee on the white marble counter, I peeped through the glass window near the door to see who it was and quickly opened the door seeing Mali standing there with her arms crossed. "Hey boo, why did you not reply to my messages." She said, walking into the house and then into the kitchen "well I was a bit busy when I woke up, and i was just about to reply back to you." I said as i grabbed a cup of coffee for Mali, setting it down in front of her.

"Oh, by the way, I need your help, I'm going on a date with Cal tonight and need -" "Say no more I came prepared." She said, interrupting me."Calum told me he was going out with you on a date, I mean, you guys have never called it a date before." Mali said while taking a sip of her coffee, "well Cal texed me this morning, saying he couldn't wait for our date night, which made me wonder why he called it that." I said while finishing my coffee "well who know tonight might be the night he'll officially ask you to be his girlfriend." Mali said, jumping up and down, I have no idea where this girl got all her energy from she had barely drank her coffee. As she said this, I felt my face turn red, and we both started giggling.

Once the laughter died down Mali broke the silence "I wasn't lying when I said I came prepared I brought a few things with me like make up and an outfit and I'm gonna help you get ready for tonight." She said with a serious tone, "thank you." I said showing her how much I appreciated her helping me.

~6pm~

"Okay you need to go and have a shower and wash your hair." Mali said standing up from the couch were we had sat all day watching movies, I stood up and walked up the stairs slowly "why do I have to do that." I said whining as Mali followed me up the stair "Cause washing your hair will help style your hair better, now chop chop we dont have all night."

After showering and washing my hair Mali blow dried my hair for me and began to curl it, my hair was done and she stared doing my make up. I was so thankful as Mali helped me, she was one my closest friends and I loved her truly.

"Outfit time!" she said, moving toward the bed, "while you were in the shower, I went into your closest to find a fancy/cute outfit and found this..."

instantly fell in love with it, it was perfect, "OH MY DAYS!! Its lovely!" I said as my jaw sit the floor I didn't know I owned anything that pretty. "Well hurry and get ready Calum will be here in 30 minutes." Mali said as she left the room so I could get ready.

I got ready just in time as I heard a knock at the door. I slowly made my way down the stairs, seeing Calum all dressed up, WOW!! he looks so hot.

Mali and Calum were chatting and got interrupted by the sound of my heels. I looked up, seeing a huge grin on Mali face and a sweet smile on Calums Face. There was complete silence until my mum shouted from the kitchen, "Have fun, kids." I smiled and walked towards Calum and Mali."See ya later, Mali." Calum said as he took my hand, and we walked out, closing the door behind me, I felt my phone vibrate in my bag as we were walking toward the car. I assumed it was Mali.

We reached the car and Calum being the sweet gentleman he is, opened the door for me and waited till I got in to close the door, as I put on my seatbelt Calum had also now joined me in the car, he looked at me while I checked my phone to see Mali texed me saying she was gonna head home 5 minutes. "Wow y/n your looking really good." He said in a sexy raspy voice.

The car journey to the restaurant was normal. The radio was on, and we were both singing our hearts out to the somgs on the radio.

Once we got to the the Italian restaurant Calum hopped out running to the other side to open the door for me, he is such a gentleman. We walked in greeted by a waiter "reservation for Hood." Calum said to the waiter who then took us to out table, which was one of the fancy ones as it was a booth facing the window looking over the Sydney night light scenery. It was so beautiful. We sat down looking through the menu however Calums eyes were glued on me the whole time.

"Hey, quit looking at me, Hood," I said as I could feel my face turning red, "You're just so pretty y/n." Moments after the waiter came back, taking our order and bringing us our drinks, we both ordered Diet coke. Once the food came, sat and ate our food while chatting.

After we had done eating Calum payed the bill and we walked out "wanna take a little walk?" Calum said intertwining our fingers together, I just simply nodded.

As we were walking, we started talking, Calum told me about being on tour and things that he missed, one of which was me, him saying that made me blush so hard. We were now on top of a hill admiring the beauty of Sydney, "Wow, it's so pretty up here." I said slowly as I sat admiring the city, "well I can't argue about that."Calum said squeezing my hand tighter I looked up into in Brown eyes twinkling as he cupped my face, "you look so fucking pretty." Calum said as our lips bashed together.

We sat there kissing for what felt like hours, Calum backed away, looking in y/e/c eyes. "Y/n..." he said, looking nervous, I placed my hand on his knee, giving him a reassuring smile. "Y/n... we've known each other our whole lives, you're one of my favourite people in the world. I don't know what I'd do without you in my life... what I'm trying to say is y/n will you be my girlfriend..." I looked into his eye and nodded my head "yes yes yes yes!!!" I said as he pulled me in a hug.
