October, 2023 - The Theodore 🍻 Phoenix, AZ
Freshly toasted and settled back home after a very long much needed vacation at the beach. Can you tell?

April, 2023 | Melrose District, Phoenix, AZ
A night walk after wine at 1912 🍷Melrose District has charming shops all along the street (one of my favorites is the guitar store) the lighting is so moody and as I danced and twirled, I saw these exact images in my head. I asked boyant to take my photo and dizzily grabbed the camera out of his hands and told him “Spin!!! Goooo! You’ll see when I get them developed”

Like they say: oldie but goodie. This must’ve been summer 2019. Touring the incredible home of Frank Loyd Wright in Scottsdale, AZ. I have a Minolta I should take out more often. It was around this time I would always carry it with me. Life (as it does) has changed so much since then. Balancing a full time job and my passions is like a hall of mirrors. I will leave it at that. Making it a goal to document more moments this year.

June, 2021 | Tempe, AZ
A quick snap in this beautiful yellow Tempe bathroom. It was at the studio we worked at for Talia Roya’s acoustic video. Which is now on YouTube! Search: Talia Roya Ripe. Grateful to practice the art of styling wardrobe to this day. I started when I was 20 and even though there have been seasons where freelance work is slow, each time I get back into it I realize why it’s a gift and form of expression that gives so much back to a side of me I’ve had since I could remember. My creative side. The goal is always to connect. When I see the confidence people have when they’re wearing what I put together for them, it’s all worth it.

Phoenix, AZ | (maybe) 2019
Film from my pocket Minox. I was so excited to see what would come out of it and only 7 PHOTOS MADE IT. This one was my favorite. I’m trying really hard to remember where I took this. What day this was exactly. I’m usually really good about remembering things but since it took me almost 2 years to go through this film I guess I’ll never know which trail in the desert this was. Tomorrow is the first day in March. February served me well, I hope it was good to you too.

November 2020 | Neighborhood Walk
A randomly hot day in freaking November. That’s Arizona for ya ✌🏼I moved to a Historic Neighborhood last summer. 5 months in and I can list a couple things that I love about it like:
1. The neighborhood market that has saved me from starving lots of times.
2. The dreamy palm trees on my street.
3. 9/10 times people say hi and smile at you.
4. Walking distance from eating spots.
5. Every home has it’s unique look and charm. I have to stop myself from standing in front of people’s homes day dreaming / wondering about the history of the home, because I don’t want to look like a creep.
6. LIVE MUSIC from time to time. I have yet to pop in and see if it’s open to the public but it’s damn good folky style stuff I’ve heard so far.
7. I know this sounds shady and I promise I carry pepper spray and only do this during the day but we’ve got some short cuts through the alleys. I like a good running shortcut during my jog, LOL.

December 2020 | Linger Longer Lounge w/ B.
“ah, the days when we could kiss the Skee ball for good luck. Too bad we cant do that now.” B, is like a bird. Brennan the bird. Flying from place to place. I told him how I think it’s funny we catch up every season, it seems like. One day I’ll be wearing a bathing suit as an outfit and the next in a leather jacket. He’s a sweet breath of fresh air. This was actually the first time in a long time I got to play Skee ball and I still randomly laugh at the memory of him spilling his wine on my dress, ha ha!
