Hello all! The second volume of the zine has arrived in our editors hands and will be on sale very soon on June 1st!! You’ll be able to pick up a digital copy for $9.99, and a physical copy for $19.99, all proceeds going to Partners in Health. Here’s a few shots showing off the lovely cover out in the wild. Top 3 Ships: i have far too many, so we’ll just go with what three ships i’m thinking the most about right now

1. der tod/death & prince rudolf - elisabeth the musical. pretty much just in the in 1992 version, but we’ll see if i can ship them in other productions. i just find uwe’s der tod really interesting and i think he, being the non-human that he is, could totally care about rudolf and also want to manipulate him

2. wolfgang amadeus mozart & hieronymus von colloredo - mozart the musical. angry hothead and playful optimist. in two scenes they get their faces very close together. the only ship out of these i’ve already written and published fanfic for, but you better believe i’m working on fics for the other because all three of these ships have a serious lack of fanfic (and a lack of fanfic in english)

3. herbert von krolock & alfred. okay so two of these ships might seem a little unhealthy, hell maybe all of them do. but imagine sarah just not wanting to be with alfred at all, regardless of graf’s existence, and alfred is tired of always being second-best, but he’s not to herbert. just, look, i’m a soft baby so if i ship something it’s always going to be fully consensual with the both of them wanting each other. also imagine vampire! alfred just having all this newfound strength and confidence and sort of getting his own back on herbert.

Last Song: wenn liebe in dir ist - tanz der vampire (was drawing máté and marc’s herberts last night and had this playing on a bit of a loop)

Last Movie: the favourite. watched it with my dad a couple nights ago and realy enjoyed it.

Reading: also reading dracula by bram stocker right now! haven’t read physical books in a while because i’ve been busy and things, but i own so many books i still haven’t read and i want to finally get through them all

Fanzine...2.0?

Hey! For those of you who maybe weren’t around in summer, we are a blog for the unofficial Thirteenth Doctor fanzine! Last June, we successfully created and sold a Thirteenth Doctor fanzine, the profits of which were donated to charity! Now, with the season back, we’d like to have another go around. So, we’re making this post to gauge interest for the creation of Fanzine 2.0, which would be distributed around the end of the season!

Here’s how it would work: assuming we see enough interest, we’ll create an application for writers and artists to apply, and have a two week application period. From there, once we accept the participants, they will have a certain amount of time (a month or two) to create a piece and submit. Then we’ll put the zine together, and put it up for sale.

Just a note: this is a non-profit project. Just like last time, all of the profits will be donated to charity, and participants will receive a digital copy of the zine.

So, how can you express your interest? Easy! Just like or reblog this post (we’d prefer reblogs, to get the word out there). Even if you’re not interested in participating, but would like to buy a zine or see it produced, please like and reblog! That’s all, and in about a week we’ll announce whether we’re going ahead with the project, and release more information then!
