It's Stray's first anniversary!!

I've never managed to do something with characters from the game itself (sorry), but I did an animatic with OCs! And I'm proud of how it turned out.

LuMin (small Companion) belongs to me.

Slugcat OCs!

Their names are The Natator and Tendril

Information and references(?) are under the cut

The Natator, waterfowl slugcat. It/it's

It is a purposed organism, a messenger, and was created by Out of Bounds. Natator is as good of a swimmer as Rivulet is, and it has even bigger lung capacity, but it's very slow on land (crawling speed is similar to Gourmand's, walking is slightly slower). It also better navigates in zero-gravity.

It has a small emotional range, but it is really curious! Most of its free time it spends in water. Occasionally, it brings interesting stuff it finds to Out.

Tendril. They/it

Tendril is a specimen of a slugcat subspecies, which formed close relations with noodleflies. They're small, flexible and mimic noodleflies' infants with their appearance. Because of this (and because this subspecies keeps good relationships with noodleflies), noodleflies allow them to travel by holding noodleflies' tails.

Tendril is a traveler and currently isn't a part of any slugcat colony. They live on Gaze's facility grounds and have willingly become their messenger. They're restrained, not very talkative and easily annoyed. It prefers to be alone and rarely visits Gaze's puppet chamber (because it finds them a little annoying), but they still appreciate her company. Sometimes.

A Gaze Into the Night Sky! The second of my RW OCs

Reference (?) and some information (mostly about their personality) are under the cut

A Gaze into the Night Sky.

His superstructure is located at the foot of a mountain, near the ocean, where it is very windy. He gave up on The Great Problem and spends most of the time doing nothing or chatting.

Gaze/aGitNS for short. Any pronouns.

They're a part of the Local Group "Lycophos", which consists of seven iterators - LoaB, GR, FV, TIaHD, aGitNS themselves, FoaC and SC. (I'll tell you about them one by one in the following posts)

They are an extrovert - and a very sociable one. They like talking to anyone new and learn anything new. They can understand others' emotions, but cannot actually feel them. Pretty optimistic and friendly for someone in their position.

Gaze doesn't like being alone. It has advanced Communications and a lot of acquaintances and friends outside of its local group. Likes to gossip from time to time. She likes jokes, but not everyone understands her sense of humor. He enjoyed playing with ancient's kids, though he never really liked Ancients themselves.

Most often they are quite reserved and soft, but they are very active (silly even) with their close ones. Knows quite a lot of interesting facts about many creatures. And iterators, too.

He is interested in a little bit of everything, most of all in astronomy and sociology. And, just like OoB, they are very fond of the night sky.

It is time. Meet the first of my RW OCs (I have a lot of them, haha..) - Out of Bounds!

Out Of Bounds.

Out/OoB for short. Any pronouns.

Her superstructure is located in a circle of mountain peaks. There's little fauna and almost no flora, most of it are under the ground, in caves. His Communications have weak signal, so he can't maintain normal communication - it takes too much time to receive messages and to send messages back, and even more time to receive and send media. So they cannot properly communicate with others - certainly not in group chats. And yes, they're not part of any local group.

Due to several mistakes in planning, placement and structure, OoB does not have a city, so after they were finished building, the Ancients left them.

The Ancients' initial plan for OoB was to make an iterator that would have as few distractions from finding the solution to The Great Problem as possible. Mistakes only further minimized distractions, since there was no city to worry about.

It absolutely does not understand social interactions, communications, emotions, feelings and everything related. It acts more like a robot than a living being. They can just stare at the wall for several cycles without noticing it. She doesn't have personal boundaries and doesn't have an understanding of what's right and wrong. It really wants to understand the behavior of living things and how to mimic it - and it can.

He doesn't really have any special interests or hobbies.

Out loves look at the skies, especially at night. In their region there's not much to look at - only bare rocks and rare creatures, who hide or run away the second they sense anything potentially dangerous. So, in this environment, all that remains is the sky. And the night sky fascinates Out. They are very fond of stars, and galaxies, and the moon, and the dark, endless, unreachable space high above her. Through this love they became friends with aGitNS (I'll talk about them in the next post!)
