I know I've been absent my loves but Real life man!
Anyway, I recently had a sim join the Interior decorator career and so in keeping with having real locales for rabbit holes, I whipped up this quick modern (read as a bunch of boxes) design firm that I can have my sim visit after her gigs!

Round rooms over water are not registering as having floors!
Rounds rooms over water are not registering as having floors which makes anything placed there unusable. Please test extensively before uploading to the gallery!
Another simmer brought this issue to my attention, prompting me to test it myself. Lo and behold, upon testing, I encountered the problem. Please excuse the appearance of this build; I constructed it specifically for testing purposes. I'm unsure why the entire room isn't registering as having a floor, with only the straight sides of the wedge being available. This issue occurs exclusively over water and only with rounded walls. Sometimes, upon loading into the lot initially, the floor spots along the curve briefly appear without their floor, then return to normal. However, the space remains unusable. The workaround I discovered is to use the ground floor as the foundation, as the problem appears to be limited to the first floor.
I started an AHQ thread so please "Me Too" is at the link below!
So, the experiment's going pretty well! Thanks to For Rent, we've got these cool multi-residences with shared spaces. I kinda went all out and created this mini open-world vibe.
Picture it: six apartments, plus spots like a bar, cafe, movie theater, and even a community center with a banquet hall. It's the perfect setup to give your Simmies that lively community feel.

This is a tiny airport. Only has one airstrip. It's mainly used by tourists flying in on their private jets. So keep your eyes peeled you may spot a celebrity or two.
The tower is decorative and it is CC-free as always!
This old home is all dressed in its Sunday best waiting for ol' Saint Nick to shimmy down its chimney. Plenty of space for entertaining all those annoying relatives you put up with once a year. Plus more than enough room to seat everyone just don't sit Uncle Charlie and Cousin Mabel beside each other!

I'm enjoying doing rooms and forcing myself to utilize things from the myriad of packs this gosh darn game has.
I do have a couple of big build WIPs but those probably won't be live until sometime next week.
Anyways, I hope you enjoy these 2 vastly different rooms
The first is a very festive holiday dining room. It has not been playtested because I only intend to use it for photoshoots so use at your own risk!
The other is this eco-living-inspired living room with a natural palette. please note that the room does include a TV not visible in the screenshot for the sake of the view not being obstructed.
