BG Turtleneck - 4t3 (sorta) conversion

Yeah, I lied about needing to rest :P OK, no, I was doing a makeover on a Sim and I noticed I had no simple tight turtleneck for female sims, and the basegame sweater didn't count, so I just baked the diffuse of a TS4 turtleneck (a sweater, tight but still a sweater) on a TS3 basegame mesh (the one with the striped shirt and the red spaghetti strap top). Problem solved :P

Buyable urnstones

Someone on MTS brought up the issue of infinite loading while using the decrapped premium content fixes and the buydebug cheat. Aside from this possible solution (which I haven't checked yet), I decided to make these buyable in the regular catalog anyway.

The urnstones are now available under Decor \ Sculptures, Decor \ Misc and Outdoors \ Lawn Decor. The .package file contains thumbnails in case you want to remove or change anything.

I've been working on big mods these days. But I wanted to post a new cc item as well :)

I usually post cute things, right? hah But I think this lamp is quite interesting, and it was on my ideas folder for quite a while now. So here it is!

If you pay attention, there are some windows, and in each one the them there's an alien.

It's a functional table lamp, there are 5 different colors, and it's base game compatible.

It's a different piece of decoration. Maybe it'll look nice on a teen's/kid's bedroom, or a gaming room. It's up to your imagination hah

4t3 Necklace Pack 2 - 3 Basegame, 2 Luxury Party SP, 1 Tiny Living SP

As promised, another set, all categorized as Casual/Formal/Outer this time. All thumbnails are on the same model because of a lack of patience, but all necklaces work in all morphs and genders.

And no, i'm not lying about the maximum polycount. The blue diamond necklace looks VERY ALPHA, VERY HIGHPOLY, but it's really just 3.2k with a 128x128 texture. The only difference from the TS4 original is that I jacked the contrast in the multiplier a little for a sparklier look.

I jumped from Get To Work to Tiny Living because GTW has a lot of necklaces to choose and TL only has one, and if I do convert the GTW ones, they'll be on their own set.

Basegame Science Museum

Space race. Wonderment. Retro.

...is this where my donations went?

These are some of the things that might come to mind as you arrive to the home of scientific discovery and geeky fun, the Basegame Science Museum. No packs or CC of any kind required.

Constructed from monumental concrete elements and large glass panels, the building rises high above the surrounding landscape both intellectually and in actual height.

The alternating textures, colonnade motifs and highly organized landscaping reference temples and universities of old, while the simplistic cubic shapes and massive cast concrete highlight space age modernity.

The microscope, alongside the telescope and rocket ship, is simply too large to fit in the average hobbyist's garage. In the museum, though, if offers visitors a marvelous chance to see the wonders of nature magnified and, if they are lucky, bring their favourite discovery home as a stylish print.

What better way to learn science than to experience it firsthand.

The free for all laboratory space allows also little scientists to get their hands on experiments and excitement.

Speaking of children, welcome to Journey to Sixam, the cosmic play area for little exploration enthusiasts.

In a couple of years, they might be building their own spaceship outside.

The museum also takes your toddlers into account: the bathrooms and cafeteria are equipped to host even the smallest future scientists.

The cafeteria finds it inspiration from clean, bright colours, futuristic synthetic materials and atomic motifs. Rainbow-bright fountains function as a brutalist yet not brutal backdrop for your snack break.

The exhibits showcase the shift from pre-industrial era to the peak of modernism and the invention of transistor and space exploration.

Among the stellar discoveries lies an undercurrent of cold war tensions from the age of the museum's founding.

What once was a very real threat to simkind has since been resolved, and turned into an entertaining yet educational experience.

The Cool War Escape Room is a way for sims of all ages to learn about the schism and stir their brain juices.

Six new custom recipes: pies!

Update 2023/02/09: fixed text strings for the French version of the Tofu Tourtiere recipe. Mega link changed, SFS link stays the same.

I’m very excited to bring you this, as it’s (so far) my only successful project in terms of scripting (well, I didn’t do the scripting myself 😅). Here you have six custom pie recipes: Cheese and Onion Pie, Chicken Pot Pie, Chiffon Pie, Fruit Pie, Meat Pie, Tofu Tourtiere.

These require DouglasVeiga’s CCLoader (CCLoader.zip: unzip and put the contents under Mods \ Packages, or a subfolder in there).

EDIT: I am so sleep-deprived that I wrote the thanks in the readme but not here! A HUGE thank you to @echoweaver for her tutorial!

Recipes:

Cheese and Onion Pie [🌿] ingredients: Cheese, Onion, Egg

Chicken Pot Pie [🍖] ingredients: Roast, Carrots, Onion

Chiffon Pie [🌿🍰] ingredients: any Fruit, Egg x2

Fruit Pie [🌿🍰] ingredients: any Fruit x2, Egg

Meat Pie [🍖] ingredients: Steak, Potato, Garlic

Tofu Tourtiere [🌿] ingredients: Tofu, White Caps, Onion

🌿 vegetarian; 🍖 non-vegetarian; 🍰 dessert

Details:

Chicken Pot Pie requires the Pets EP (Carrots ingredient). Tofu Tourtiere requires Supernatural EP (White Caps ingredient). You might be able to make them if you don’t have those EPs, but they will lack those ingredients. The other recipes are all basegame compatible. 

You can pick and choose whichever recipe you want, but you must have DouglasVeiga’s CCLoader regardless of what you keep.

Most of the recipes can be learned at level 3 of the cooking skill, via $30 recipe books. The Cheese and Onion Pie recipe can be learned at level 2 and costs $20 to buy, so it appears at the top of the list since the cheapest recipes are $25.

All recipes can only be made as Group meals (so you can find them under Serve..., not Have...), at any time of day.

Readme file included in download.

Translations: currently, the recipes feature English strings for all languages. DM me if you want to contribute localized translations 😊The only string is the name of the pies listed above, lol.

Compatible with other custom recipes and my mods: More Complex Recipes / Some Meals as Desserts, 4 Servings per Group Meal. Pictured: one variant of my Marble Default Replacement Plates.
