Storm and Thunder: Breeze in the Clouds Fan Characters
I am following a game devlog here on Tumblr called Breeze in the Clouds. I thought up a couple of characters that would fit into the game and story. I love the devlopment that is placed in both characters and the mechanics of the game. The names of these fan characters are mentioned in the title, they names are Storm and Thunder. Storm would have been Lightning before I thought that what could the workers with certain conditional roles in maintaining weather would do on their downtime. Hence, Lightning became Storm as a pun to his downtime job. More about them under the cut.
Both of Them
Storm and Thunder are tigers that deal with storms that must have lightning in them. At a glance one can easily tell what role they play due to their stripes, which in fact was a coincident that worked out fine for them. Anyone that knows them and can sure that if you see one of them, then the other is not that far away.
Storm
Storm is the guy you need to see if you need a good lightning bolt to strike in a certain spot without any desire for the travel path; he made a heart with lightning once. Windy yelled at him for that stunt despite being the supervisor for the wind domain, she felt he might have endangered someone making that heart. He double-checks his projects with a few supervisors before committing to a pattern. While Storm is very friendly and wish to help others, most of the time he just make things worse without intending to. Which makes him similar to an actual bolt of lightning, while lightning can be amazing and awe inspiring, it is a dangerous force of nature. He has a tendency to have the most weirdest thoughts, like what someone would taste like with certain food and condiments and would it be rude to sing instead of talk to a person.
At a glance and pure coincident, one can tell that Storm works in the storm department due to his stripes looking like lightning bolts. He has a lean athletic physique. His outfit consists of a tank top that reads “Stormy Brews” and a pair of short with soundwaves as a pattern. No shoes, he hates them.
On his off time he runs a cafe called “Stormy Brews”, his tank top is merchandise from that store. If the characters are similar to humans then he serves delicious coffee and teas in the skies, not the best because he wants to keep the cost low for his customers. Otherwise, he serves lovely drinks that contain no caffeine at all. He wants his customers to be happy. In addition, despite the name, he does serve milkshakes and malts.
If the game will contain LGBT NPCs, Storm is CisMale Pansexual/Panromantic. As long as you have a pulse and are alive, he will be your lover whether you identify as trans male or a brick. However, he will only commit if you can help him stay on the task at hand. Otherwise, the moment you greet him, you have a friend. He is looking for that special friend that he can truly connect with and stop him from going overboard with his brand of help. Either way, he found what he wants in Thunder.
In a fight of any kind, he uses his speed to his advantage, for extra damage the tasers he built into his gloves.
Storm wonders if Breeze reports to Windy. He wonders if the corgi is from the surface. He also wonders if the little guy taste good with a dash of blueberry jam and scoop of blackberry ice cream. Also, if the corgi looks good in a blue and purple stripe bikini.
Thunder
Thunder is the guy in charge of making sure Storm does his job right. He was placed on that task by request of Windy. He’s been busy ever since that moment. He does not regret that assignment.
At a glance and without knowing him, you would wonder how dangerous thug got into the domain thanks to his lightning bolt shaped scars, big muscular body, and perpetual scowl. However, Thunder is the nicest guy you will ever meet in the sky, next to Storm. His stripe pattern looks like soundwaves that also gives a curvy lightning bolt aesthetic. He is very comfortable with his body that he wears his vest that reads “Stormy Brews” open without a shirt underneath showing off his body, a pair of bright yellow shorts with lightning bolts, and simple rain boots.
Hardly has any off time considering that his job is to keep Storm in check, but he helps out at Storm’s cafe, Stormy Brew. He makes a mean milkshake called, Breezy Lightning. Popular drink at the cafe and no one realizes that the guy they are scared of made the milkshake.
If the game will contain LGBT NPCs, Thunder is CisMale Ace/Biromantic. However, due to how he appears to others, Thunder gave up looking for love. He doesn’t understand why Storm is hitting on him, because Thunder believes Storm can do better. He wants someone that sees past his thuggist appearance and see the softie that he really is. That’s still true if there is no LGBT at all, he wants a friend that’s see him like he sees himself.
In a fight, Storm can easily overpower his opponents easily. That muscular body is not just for show girls and guys. With a single punch, he can hit his opposition from a bit of distance from him.
Thanks to constantly being feared at first glance, he wonders why a corgi that is about a third of his height is talking casually to him.
Thanks to AaronTheSnob’s post (link provided), I just envisioned Xehanort being a Spirit in Super Smash Bros Ultimate cheaply norting everyone and anyone this way. If the fighter acts like the spirit that is possessing them, then what is stopping Xehanort pulling a stunt like that. Just a thought.
This is why I originally follow you, @relay314 . Your UNDERTALE art was amazing, and now I stay due to the rest of your amazing art, making tender and muscular men.
You’d think I forgot how to draw this goat but I did not!!
I wanted to make a comic about some of the lessons that video games I’ve played have taught me. Making this was very nostalgic, and it sort of helped me remember why I love these games so much. Be kind, everyone ❤︎
I’ve gotten a lot of messages/DMs in the past couple of months with people asking how they can support our project, etc.
I’m working on that now, but in the meantime, feel free to reblog dev posts and art, and direct people to our blog :)
We’re also on twitter: @BreezeGame
Thanks fans!
