Yay my thing finished 😁 I'm calling this my "Gladiator Dice Arena", cause I like that name. It looks all princess like in this super old school aqua glitter made by @proto_pasta ✨ now I can play with myself inside the #3dprinter πŸ˜„ only space available to do anything around here 😊 actually think I like #Catandicegame better than solitaire right now. Have to beat my highest score against myself. πŸ˜‹ #3dprinted #dicegame #dicetray (at Gresham, Oregon)

Savage Brawler Box came out really nice. It's a @proto_pasta purge from when I designed Purple with them back in February. The glass looking light blue to a few shades darker is so smooth you can barely tell. Can't wait to see what the next one will look like, it's getting darker the deeper I go. 😁 #DragonEgg #DeckBox #MTG #yugioh

Update on my #DragonEgg #purse 😎 made my first one last August, lid didn't stay closed well at all and the egg needed to be a smidgen bigger. The new one still has bugs up the wahzoo, least it feels that way. The swivel clips are awesome but sitting up to high to use for the strap, so those need to be lowered. The swivel clip works great for the lid attachment. Chose leather for looping the lid on and it's really strong. Actually looks almost time period appropriate using leather. The subtractions for where the strap leaves the egg is good, way better than the first but needs a guide since I can easily place the strap on the wrong scale and pop it. Maybe after another million years I'll get my next prototype and be closer to releasing this one. I get so many compliments in public and asking where they can get one. Soon, soon I hope. I'm still dehydrated and not feeling well. Been like this almost three days now, really annoying. Maybe tomorrow will be more productive. 😩 (at Gresham, Oregon)

Hey! After a year of getting multiple requests from you wonderful players 😘 for a #DragonEgg #DeckBox πŸ˜‹ I finally came up with a design I feel will nicely accommodate some of you. Of course, it's a dragon egg, woot! πŸ˜„ holds one 60 card brawler deck double sleeved, with my corner guards from the Caster deck boxes I designed last October, side compartments for dice and/or tokens (d20s, d6s), not sure how many dice yet but will get a count after the first prototype. The lid has plates to keep your magical bits in the side compartments from dancing around wildly during travel and potentially denting those priceless cards. And also, as with any of my new designs I've released in the last two years, this deck box will also have the usual embedded magnets. Throwing this one on Kastor as I'm posting this and hopefully if testing goes great 🌟, you can expect to see it in the shop soon for sale. 😎 @adskfusion360 #Fusion360 (at Gresham, Oregon)

These are my #3dprinters i designed and built. Credit to @atteronious for doing my electrical, making sure things are plugged into the right spot, thermistors are working properly, and firmware. I know it's not ground breaking since everyone designs their own printers these days. But I am proud of myself that a little dream I had so long ago came true. So four years ago, I was watching @atteronious assemble our first #3dprinter kit and suggested the idea of two printers stacked on each other, sounds cool right?! I didn't know anything about #3dprinting at the time. Also anyone I told about my idea said yea, you put them on shelves, or build a frame around two separate printers. I was like no, not separate printers, the same printer, like printer inception. But you know, I just sounded crazy or like I didn't know how printers typically worked. Attero later designed his own printer from scratch that broke the fear for me about "who" was capable of designing their own printer. I started getting ideas of how the mechanical system would look and go together. I dreamed about watching a printer print inside another printer. For a long time I just couldn't see how it would possibly go together. At least not until my epic failure with ceramic printing that made me say, forget it, I'm just going to do what I want that makes me happy. Other people might think it's lame, but whatever. And now I'm here.. This is so awesome. 😁 Thanks for watching me through this painful journey. πŸ˜„ And I'm sorry for wanting to give up so many times! (at Gresham, Oregon)

😩 Ugh, so exhausted but I finally remedied all the issues I started my day with. #3dprinters always seem to take a million years to work on. πŸ˜„ And I've dropped the Allen keys on the floor so many damn times since midnight, I'm so tired. Just fling it across the room. Anyways, Pollix still running strong making few more parts for Kastor. Was going to work on the controller board mount but I'm too damn tired. Thankfully Juno is back to my standards. Man I'm so picky. 😁 Looking forward to starting, well today since it's past midnight, with a clean slate to fill with the next set of things to solve. πŸŒƒ #corexy #corexy3dprinter #diy3dprinter #3dprinting #dontgiveup (at Gresham, Oregon)

Having one of those days already. My smooth rods are ~2mm too tall, we don't have the proper equipment to "trim" a steel rod, can't easily bore out on the printed part accurately either. Yesterday I failed at fiberglass safety, got it all over my face, the burning and itching. I'm now frightened to even repair the fiberglass insulated wires. The problem is on Hephaestion, there was some wear to a part of the insulation and it exposed just enough fiberglass to create a problem for my careless safety. Since I refuse to neglect reusing hardware, I need to make this work. The insulation is no where near being exposed wiring but the insulation skin is damaged. And now the order I've tried printing the last three days that kept "not being perfect", finally took the time to diagnose the problem on the machine. Sure enough since Juno was the first of my many iterations, and I already fixed the problem on revisions of Kastor and Pollix, I now need to replicate it onto Juno because it's causing an issue. Technically if the issue didn't show itself right away, miswell get use out of the part before being discarded. My part design is ~0.5mm too thin, so when the plate is fully tightened down to the extruder, it has play on the part. This creates a slight variance on a sidewall that I think is unsavory. Just feeling trapped, since orders are due and one is already late now. Have to decide what to work on first. Either way, today won't be very productive for my customers' orders. (at Gresham, Oregon)

Feeling optimistic today. ✨ Think I'm making reasonable progress on Kastor this morning. Kastor and Pollix actually fit perfectly into the closet now! πŸ™ It took some creative changes to make it fit just right. Hoping I can meet my goal of debut at the next @pdx3dplab Meetup πŸ˜‰ This one is definitely one of my passion projects since I've been dreaming about the double decker design for years now. πŸ’– Some things just take patience and time to come into fruition. 😁 #3dprinter #diy3dprinter #3dprinting #corexy @openbuilds @distech.automation @proto_pasta @adskfusion360 (at Gresham, Oregon)
