French Class
I really have to start writing down all the topics I want to talk about in my blogs, because yesterday I had like 20 ideas and now they're all gone.
Day 24, Time 10:04 am, Currently in French class (we have free time).
Yeah, I have no idea what I am going to talk (write) about I guess as I go I'll figure it out. Let's start with school, Tomorrow I am going to take part in the Italian Math Olympics, which really is just for fun. Our school is just giving us the question sheets and we can choose to participate or not without having to pay for it. Yes, I started this blog in French class but now I'm home writing some more. In French class, my classmates and I did a practice presentation for the, in two weeks, summative presentation about songs from memories that are special to us. Of course in French, and surprisingly it went better than I thought it would, I'm pretty okay at french.
After French class, we had an hour of math, which on Wednesdays is normally the extended math day. So the class is for people who do extended math, not me. The other people get a practice test to make and understand what we learned Monday and Tuesday better. The whole day yesterday I thought it was Thursday because during the lunch break, when we're supposed to go outside, Aurora, Luther, and I worked on our clay art project. Which I will also work on tomorrow in art class. After school, we worked on it too, or at least Luther and I did. So on my way home, I was a bit confused about what day it was, which was much later.
Because after Luther and I worked on our project I didn't bike home but biked more towards the center of the city to go to physiotherapy. It was so relaxing, I always like it, and the physiotherapist always gives me advice on what to do to help my back from hurting. Only after that, I got home, and by then it was already 18:00 so it's late but I don't have that much homework. Just a whole bunch of projects that are due soon, the one I just talked about being a clay sculpture for art made with the pinch-pot technique. Then there is the math investigation due next Friday. Then my group and I are making a magazine for geography about the area around our school.
And then in general there is my personal project I have to work on more than I have been. I'm not sure I have mentioned it before but right now I have to decide what parts of the brain replica are going to be able to take off and what pieces are together as one piece. For now, I already have an idea what material it is going to be made of, paper-mache, because that is easy, light and, I will be using recycled materials from my household.
So yes, eventually I did find out what to talk about, I have an idea for next time too and I am going to write it down right now. Okay, I wrote it down. Normally I have the most time and motivation to write during my free time at school during classes. So I might not blog tomorrow because then it's a busy day but I will probably write Friday before the weekend sometime. Write you next time!

Sinterklaas
I have decided and realized, I was really happy and still am in the time I haven't blogged. And so I am deciding to not try to blog every day.
Day 23, Time 11:52 am, Currently sitting in a math class revision.
You must be freaking out right now, 'What she's gonna stop blogging every day?'. Well, the last time I blogged was when I was talking about the sleepover Luther, Aurora, and I had during the weekend. Two weeks ago. A lot has happened since then, the weekend after we had (American) friends from the Netherlands come over. Since then, I have had a lot of tests for school, so in conclusion, I have been busy. But I am back and will warn you guys next time I take a break.
The month of November in the Netherlands is pretty fun, for those of you who don't know what is going on, I shall explain. Instead of Christmas and Santa Claus, there is Sinterklaas, who is I believe a cousin of Old Saint Nick. On the first of November, he arrives on his steamboat from Spain with all of his 'pieten' or 'petes'. The pieten help him out in the nights of November to distribute small presents and candy in your clog (now shoe) by the fireplace. It's like an advent calendar, but instead of leading up to the 25th of December, it's to the 5th of December. This day, or rather evening you get a knock at the door and a big bag full of presents is there.
So, now it's the 30th of November which means that in the Netherlands, in 5 days, it will be basically Christmas eve and people will open their presents. This year my family won't be celebrating Sinterklaas. Firstly because we don't live there anymore and Sint doesn't come to Italy, secondly, last year we only did it because my youngest sister was small and it was easier for us in a way of gifts. This is because every year we go to Rome where my grandparents live or to the U.S. to visit my dad. While we would be in Rome and Christmas, we would open the presents we got from family. Before that, our grandparents from the U.S. and my dad would send presents and we would open those at home during Sinterklaas.
Like I said, we used to do that, because we now live in Milan this year we are going to Rome by car, so we can bring our own presents and bring more back. This way we don't need to have two Christmas's either. after we spend Christmas in Rome, my (biological) dad will come to Milan and spend the last week of holiday with Jason and me.
Enough about Christmas and more about me, yay! I used to record daily vlogging Tik-Toks for those who don't know yet. I decided to record Tik-Toks again, not in the same way, but more just for fun and to be myself for future me to look back at. Wich is also a bit of what this blog is, it's part for myself and part to help other kids my age to get through life in the city and the transition from high school to college. Also, comment if you guys have questions or requests topics for me to talk about because I will!
Alright, this blog has gotten a good size so I shall stop writing now but I promise you guys that tomorrow I have quite a bit to write about. Write you tomorrow!

Stendhal Syndrome
Well, my back and pinky hurt, but my back always hurts and my pinky was worth it.
Day 22, Time 21:48, Currently watching Halluva Boss.
All right it's been four days since my last blog and today it's Friday. This means my friends and me went to Starbucks again, we normally make homework while there but today we just hung out and chatted. Mostly because we didn't have any homework but also because we just have to study for the upcoming week. Also, I didn't do much because my laptop was dead.
This week to study is Math and History, I finished the math investigation yesterday that was due next Tuesday but was moved to the week after. The summative for math is still Tuesday though. Then History will be a written summative next Friday about ancient Greece and the Roman Empire. Which is a topic I find quite interesting, especially because this class goes into detail and real-life situations.
Math is not as interesting of course, but I do find it so. The paper we have to write is about exponentials and their uses in real-world situations. Exponents are the tiny powers above numbers that tell you how many times you do the number times itself. In the conclusion part of the paper, we have to write what we thought about the investigation and what surprised us. I wrote about something my (step) dad explained to me while I started writing.
The question is, 'How many times do you have to fold an A4-sized piece of paper to reach the moon?'. You might think 'wow that would have to be a lot of folds, like over 100'. But it has to do with exponentials, because every time you fold the paper, the thickness duplicates. So the paper thickness grows rapidly. The answer is only 45 times. You would only have to fold it 45 times, try it out! Guys, this is the reason why I like math, it is so interesting sometimes and can really blow your mind once in a while.
Then yesterday my parents went out on a date, which meant Jason and me got to babysit our little sister. and my parents went to a restaurant that I think was called Stendhal, after the writer from the first half of the 19th century. Stendhal syndrome is also a thing, and I find it very interesting and, again, mind-blowing.
''Stendhal's syndrome or Florence syndrome is a psychosomatic condition involving rapid heartbeat, fainting, confusion, and even hallucinations, allegedly occurring when individuals become exposed to objects, artworks, or phenomena of great beauty and antiquity.'' (pasted from google) this syndrome is basically when you find a piece of artwork that you think is so amazing, you get literally touched by the art or mind-blown.
Then, something else, for music class, an update. Our music teacher informed us we are going to sing Christmas songs outside the entrance of the school, the day before Christmas Holliday. And I am so happy because I love singing and am happy to be part of the Christmas performances. We now have 5 more weeks to write our own songs as our summative before the end of the term. And we are still practicing the song Snowman by Sia.
I found out I can play piano and sing at the same time pretty well. Also during gym class, we played volleyball, this is where I hurt my pinky and I think I am going to try out at a volleyball place for me and Luther to join soon. Anyway, hope you had fun reading, tomorrow Luther, Aurora, and I have a sleepover so I am not sure if I will blog or not. See ya!

Dopamine
If you know the song below, then you know. If you don't go check it out, it's another one of my rollerskating songs.
Day 21, Time 22:20, currently listening to, we fell in love in October, by Girl In Red.
When I can't think of anything to write, I think of what classes I had that day at school, and eventually, I come up with something. So, every Monday it's two classes of French. For this class, we talked about different kinds of music from French-speaking countries like Madagascar. Then it's one Global Studies class, where we talked about (gotta check) culture, identity, and tradition. More specifically, the definitions of the term and how they are parts of our daily life. Like what we had for breakfast this morning.
After the small break, two Math classes, I know the cliche for high school is that everyone hates math class and school in general. But I learned to like Math class, and sometimes I enjoy learning about it. What I don't like about all stereotypes is that as soon as I say during class; 'I like math' everyone is like, 'Nah, you cant like it. No one likes math' or something like, 'What? Who likes math? You're so weird. Not that I don't like being called weird, It's more about the fact that even if something is a stereotype. It doesn't mean you have to hate it too, sure you may, but at least hear the person out about it. Because that sh*t hurts sometimes guys.
Yes, I did it, I found something to talk bout. As I have mentioned in a previous blog, I am a very empathetic person. Maybe most people can not see right away that something like this might affect someone. But that's the reason why I am writing this so that anybody who is reading this will maybe think a little more about their actions. And maybe they will start putter their feet in other people's shoes for once. Because yes it takes practice, but I have been doing it for a few years now without noticing. It shows the difference between empathetic people and others. Sometimes the results aren't that fun but other times it's quite interesting to understand how people work and how.
Okay, seriously, I think I just figured out why I like and am interested in psychology. That's awesome! Then after math class, we had a pretty delicious lunch, thanks mom, and then Luther and I had two hours of Italian together. Which was also pretty nice, like it is every time because I love learning, but learning a language that you can use around you and practice in motion is very exciting and so much fun.
As I have said before, this blog is like a vent, so whatever comes to mind, I will write it all. And continue to follow the dopamine (a neurotransmitter, maybe next time) Anyway, I am not sure I will blog tomorrow because it might be a busy day so we will see. Write ya!

Messy Music
Skip a day, write a day. That’s my motto. No, it’s not, I prefer to be able to write everyday.
Day 20, Time 11:28, Currently listening to something, I am too lazy to write what.
Yes, I skipped writing for Saturday, but I can still tell (write) about it and tell y'all what happened. Friday I talked about music, and I actually wrote more than I thought I could write about music. Today I am going to write some more about music, but it also has to do with school. Yes, music class.
Fridays are one of my favorite days at school, which I believe I have told you guys before. this is due to History class, PSED, Music class, and phyz ED. Any student who loves history's favorite day. Also known as mine. almost every day we have music class, we play at least something, even if it's something small and not that hard to learn. Less than half of our complete class goes to music class and the other half goes to design class. This is where you are given a problem and have to solve it with your own design. I don't know much more because I never had this class before and don't think I ever will have it.
I love music class too much. Last lesson, Friday, we didn't really play anything because we were busy talking and figuring out what it is we are going to do for the rest of the term. At first, we were busy writing a song, 'we' is all of the students in music class with the help of the professor. But the professor couldn't find a way to give a summative by the end of the term so now our assignment for the next 6 weeks is to write our own songs. I am really excited to start working on writing my own song. Ever since I found out I have been saving videos on TikTok of singers and songs that I like and will take into usage? Something like that.
Then for Christmas, I understood that the school normally performs in some kind of a church in front of the school and parents. But due to covid last year and this year, they didn't do that. I don't know what they did last year, but they didn't do the normal. For this year the grades 3 to 8 are going to record their performances and they are going to send it to all the parents. Grade 9 doesn't have enough people who want to do music class to do it, so they don't have it. But grade 10, the class I am in, does have a class and basically isn't going to do anything for Christmas that the school organized.
My music teacher is amazing, she told us we could pick a Christmas song to learn and do the same thing as the other grades. We have about 6 weeks to learn the song Snowman by Sia. We are with 6 people in total and all play something else. Aish doesn't play anything so is going to sing, Luther played percussion/ drums for a long time and so is going to play the drums. The only guy in the class plays the guitar, one girl plays the recorder (a flute) and the other girl plays the violin. And I of course will play the piano, and I might sing as well if I am able to sing and play piano at the same time. It's perfect!
Alright, this is my Sunday blog. It's a little long sorry. Hopefully, I'll see (write) ya tomorrow.

Philomath
'Philomath' ['fil - uh - math'], (n.) a lover of learning. which, if you read my blogs, you know that I am a philomath.
Day 19, Time 16:49, Currently sitting in a Starbucks woth friends, Listening to Cigarette Ahegao, by Penelope Scott.
Currently, I am back home because I wrote the quote and info part of this blog the last minutes I was at the Starbucks. after school we went there right away, as we sometimes do on Fridays. 'We' is my close friend group as in, Luther, Aishi, Aurora, and me. We worked on some homework and I helped Luther out with the Math homework from a few days ago. Then meanwhile I was working on the History homework I told Luther to write some subjects down that I could talk about in my blog. He came up with 'music' and that's it.
I indeed could talk about music, so I shall do my best, and hopefully, he approves. I don't really have a music taste or a specific genre I listen to, in reality, it changes all the time. Usually, and for a long time now I have been using Spotify. But recently as I have gotten to know Luther, I think YouTube Music might work pretty well for me. Luther sent me his playlist and I found out we have pretty much the same music taste, which is really nice. And every time I listen to it (the playlist) I add the songs I like to my playlist.
Yes, Luther, this blog is about you this time (not in a creepy way). Then, more about music. I play the piano, and have now for about a year and a half? Something like that. I really do enjoy it, and had classes while I lived in The Netherlands. Now I am moved here (Milano),  I feel like I know the basics and could learn any song I want to, so I am not planning on taking any lessons here.
Speaking of instruments I also want to start trying out the base guitar, because I find it very interesting and think it will be fun to learn how to play it. I have played the guitar before, but this was a classic guitar and nothing electric. Also, I nearly touched learning it and that was many years ago. But I still love learning so relearning won't be a problem.
Because I am already late on blogs I will post this one as it is and maybe give myself a break for a day. See ya!

Writing And Reading
I thought the times at which I was blogging(in the day) were getting later, but I found time, Huzzah! if you know me, you know I say that often.
Day 18, Time 20:15, Currently... sitting on the couch.
I am going to blog about books today. But, I like writing too, as you have read, about my daily life and sometimes short stories too. I found out I like writing, being creative, and writing short stories, all thanks to English class. As homework, we've had to read a couple of short stories, and they were quite interesting. Some are in a universe where when you lie, it rains on you, and the bigger the lie, the colder the rain.
Then during Today's English class, our teacher Mr. Mennix, also our homeroom teacher, explained to us that for the next period we will be creating our own cartoon. A CARTOON!! I can't wait. Once we find out whose idea has won, they will pitch it to Cartoon Network!! When Mr, Mennix showed us a video of the Cartoon Network people explaining how they analyze pitches and explained what they look for I came up with an awesome Idea.
No, I am not going to tell you my cartoon idea. But I can tell you that if you know the show 'Owl House', my cartoon is going to be a little like that. When I explained to Mennix my idea, he said it was a 'very original idea'  and that my characters also are 'original characters'! I am sooo excited!! (if you can't tell yet).
Now, actually about books. I love writing, but also readinging stories and more. So far I have been a bookworm since Covid-19 started. I used to really suck at reading, and really, it was bad. I would read only 5 sentences and have no idea what it was I was reading. This is around the time I was 11/12, but even after, I would not read much. Once Covid hit I had more time at home. So I used a gift card from my birthday and used it on two books I thought would be interesting, 'To Kill A Kingdom' and 'Red Queen'.
Of course, I have read other books before this and the book I remember that really got me into reading is called Northern Lights. Not as popular as the others, but it was an old one I had laying around. The two other books are very popular on BookTok/ book TikTok, which is why I chose them. I liked them both very much, the first had a very satisfying and exciting twist, a classic 'enemies to lovers' kind of book. The second book I thought was good and eventually even bought the second in the series, I am planning to eventually buy the others in the series too.
Currently, I am trying to find different genres that I like, other than Young Adult Fiction. So as I have mentioned before, I find psychology very interesting so mom had some books in this genre herself. She is lending me a book called 'Making Evil' right now. It talks about how we (humans) perceive evil/bad people and evil, and the other way around, how people might think about it differently or the same way. It talks about psychopaths and what goes on in their minds. I will tell you guys how it goes.
At first, I didn't want to write much, but I got on a roll and wrote a bit more than I planned for. I apologize. No, I don't. I love writing.

Biology Class
Sitting up straight is really hard sometimes, even if it gives some kind of sensation that it feels better. It still hast to become a habit. Which takes long.
Day 17, Time 21:51, Currently listening to Vibratim by Mother Mother.
I remember in the last post I wrote I said I would talk about school some more (a lot), here I go (be prepared). Yesterday and Today I worked on a couple of presentations, one for Biology class and the other for Art. One of the subjects I have Tomorrow is art, so I finished that up today. It's about Vanessa Beecroft who is an Italian-born-American performance artist. Aurora, Luther, and I will present this Tomorrow in front of the class. Then we'll show the video we recorded of the performance art we came up with at Aurora's house before the break.
Then for biology class, we have to do a presentation next Tuesday about a genetic disease. I chose scoliosis for my presentation for two reasons, one because my mom, her dad (grandpa), and I all have it, which means it's genetic (also because google says so). Two, because I have it and have to go to multiple kinds of therapy for the rest of my life because of it, big inhale. Basically, I want to know more about it and what my options look like in the future.
More about school is the Personal Project class everyone from grades 9 and 10 has to take. As I think I have mentioned before in a previous post (again)  in summary your Personal Project is a project you set up for yourself with a learning goal and a product goal. For my personal project, I am going to make a replica of the human brain on a 1:1 scale, wait for it, that you can deconstruct and reconstruct. Yes, the brain replica will be like a puzzle that you can put together, expert it will already be put together and you can instead take it apart and learn about the different parts of the human brain.
I had my first meeting with my supervisor for this project this Tuesday. We discussed what I already had written for my goals and what I now have to do. For this week and next the research begins, what parts of the brain are going to be connected? Which pieces are going to be separate and removable? What materials am I going to use to construct this brain? And all that jazz. I am so excited and will update you guys on how it goes.
Tumblr media
This is the photo I am going to use to help me decide what parts will be removable and attached to each other. There are too many parts of the brain to make them all removable. Also, I might use this for color-coding.
Alright, I have spoken too much. Even if this blog is all about school that is what you get written in blogs from me. I like school. See you tomorrow (after school).

The Dorsal Stiatum
I am back! I went to Rome as I mentioned in my last post (I think) with my dad and siblings. But just got back Monday evening.
Day 16. Time 21:20, currently listening to Pyjma Pants by Cavetown.
It is true, I am home again and am able to blog some more. I realized from the last time I wrote that I won't be able to blog every day. This means that you should not expect me to post every day and that I might have to take some breaks from writing. Nonetheless, I will keep writing while I have the time.
What is that feeling called when you feel deep while listening to music? Smelling something familiar from the past is called nostalgia (which I have written about before) or having a deja-vu is having a strong sense of familiarization. Or... Why do I feel music so deeply? The answer is that empathetic, people have a reaction in the dorsal striatum (I like brains and psychology) when a familiar song plays. This is part of the brain's reward system, and means that listening to a familiar song is more pleasurable for empathetic people.
I thought it was fun to research and write about as it is something I often have experiences with. Onto a different subject, my holiday to Rome for the Halloween break.
As I mentioned in my second-to-last post, 'Rollerskating After Homework' the upper-school part of my school had a day where everyone could dress up for Halloween. I dressed up as Beetle Juice and my mom left the same day for Greece. The week after that was a holiday for Jason (my sibling) and I, but not for our smallest sister. So Jason and I hung out at home and went out (not saying I didn't blog during that time). Then our (step) dad got my smallest sister out of school Friday so we could all leave Thursday.
Jason and I left Thursday morning by train and arrived around 11:30 am in Rome. Our two best friends, who are also siblings (not ours), were there ready to pick us up for lunch. Let's call the sister, Till, and the brother Rayne. They live in the Netherlands (where I used to live), but came to Rome for the holiday, visiting grandparents and because it's Tills birthday that week, for Halloween. We just mist her birthday but still got to hang out. Rayne's birthday is exactly a week after that, the 7th of November. My (step) dad and my smallest sister arrived in Rome around 18:45, when they got there went to my Nonno (grandpa) & Nonna's (grandma) house.
I also have a feeling this is going to be a long post, maybe to make up for the last post? That's fine. For my Personal Project, as I have mentioned in a previous blog, my Biology teacher is my supervisor. The week we made an appointment for this Wednesday, to discuss what I have to do so far. But she came up to me this morning and asked if I could meet her after school today, I said I could.
After school at 15:30, I had my first Personal Project meeting. I got some homework from this but won't mind doing it because my Personal Project is about something that interests me, phycology, physiology, and building/ creating things. Didn't have much other homework except for working on a couple of presentations for Art and Biology class.
Tomorrow I will talk more about these subjects and the Personal Project I am working on. Write you then!

''There is absolutely no reason to be around someone that makes you feel you can't be yourself.'' Thanks Aurora.
Day 15, Time 20;04, Currently listening and watching nothing.
Hi guys, I won't be posting a lot for this blog. Not because I don't have anything to talk about, but because of time shortage. Tomorrow I leave with Jason quite early, so we have to sleep sooner. And today we went out and had fun, had to pack too. Hopefully, I will write more when I have the time. Have a nice weekend!

Rollerskating After Homework
Being the 'mom friend' is fun, and I always enjoy being the leader and bringing my friends around town. Of course, not everyone can be the 'mom friend', you have to be very talented.
ay 14, Time 20:02, Currently listening to 'teenage dirtbag' by dsiboys
As I wrote Yesterday, Today Luther and I went over to Aurora's house to work on some homework. The homework is for art class, and it's about performance art. What did we have to do as homework? Make performance art. During the last art class we had, Luther came up with a great idea connected to the word 'roles'.
We recorded the performance at Aurora's house, after playing and practicing some volleyball. She lives in a type of condo, where the houses are not apartments but are placed next to each other in rows, I'm not sure what that's called. Luther actually mentioned he might want to try out volleyball too, so maybe after this holiday, we will start together.
After recording our art homework we hung out and talked a bit, then Aurora mentioned that she had a karaoke microphone. For about twenty minutes we sang 5 songs. after singing a bit, it was about 17:20, and Luther wanted to check out American Crunch in the center. I don't think I have mentioned it on one of my blogs before, but I believe I have written about it in my scrapbook.
Aurora came along, so we went by tram to the center, and walked to American crunch. if you haven't got it yet, American Crunch is a candy store that sells American and international candy. We all got some things to bring back home and then we left because it was getting late. Luther and I walked together and Aurora took the tram back.
Totally different subject, I am listening to '10 Feet Tall' by Cavetown right now, and man is this song nostalgic. Something being nostalgic means it brings back sentimental memories from the past. I love coming by nostalgic things. This song and album are one of the few I would listen to while rollerblading around in the Netherlands, where I used to live. Rollerblading in the Netherlands is really nice to do because of all the bike lanes there. In short, it's nice because it's safe.
The period during which I was riding/ rolling around the city a lot was during the beginning of covid lockdown. If you live with siblings you will understand that being stuck in a house with them for long periods of time sucks. This and other reasons are why I loved getting out and rollerblading. Because I enjoy skating is a reason too of course.
Tomorrow will be my last post until Tuesday so for those who have a holiday like I do, have a nice holiday. For those who don't, have a nice week!

TBR-What’s Yours?
Currently I have quite a few books on my TBR list, I read the ones that were recently bought. But my mom has a few pretty cool books I want to read too.
Day 13, Time 19:22, Currently listening to Another One Of Those Days by Cavetwon.
If you don't know what TBR stands for, it stands for; To Be Read. it refers to the books you have on your bookshelves or in your shopping cart that you one day want to read.
Personally, I like young adult and historical fiction books, but that is only from the experience I have so far. An author I will never forget, and hopefully, you guys know as well, is Stephen King. I haven't read all of his books, and I don't think I know anyone who has. Thanks to my mom I know him and his famous books, she has read many of his books too.
My sibling who I wrote about yesterday is finally reading the blogs I have been writing and posting, so you might have seen some comments from them on a few posts. Jason gave me one of the best apologies a writer can receive, said; ''the word tequila comes into mind, but the background is sunset-colored when I read your writing.''
No, they said that too but only after they gave me a real compliment about my writing, they said; '' When I read your writing it feels like sitting in a warm cottage, drinking hot chocolate while reading a book.'' This is the best compliment a writer can get, or at least this is the best compliment I have ever gotten. I am very thankful for this, I am only 15 so I think it's big (even if Jason is my sibling).
This holiday I still get homework from school, so tomorrow a few of my friends and I are going to work on that. I know it's not that long of a post but see you tomorrow!

Rollerskating In Chinatown
Aurora you are right, I didn't have time before to write. Even now, I am using little time in the evening that I have to write right now. Still, because I am human.
Day 12, Time 19:51, Currently listening to Come As You Are - Nirvana.
Time is not such a hard concept to understand, at least it isn't for me, not all the time. When I wrote down that it is currently 19:51, I asked myself, 'is it 5:51 or 6:51 pm?'.
'No, wait It's 7:51 pm, it's neither of those'.
Even if I understand Military Time and use it every day, it still confuses me in this way sometimes.
It is Sunday and it is vacation, at least it is for my sibling and me. Our (step) dad wanted out of the house today. Around 3:00 pm he had a meeting with a friend and both their daughters in the park. So my sibling and me, you know what? calling them my sibling the whole time is getting annoying, let's call them Jason. Jason and I had to go out and do something together.
Jason is a gremlin person, if you know what I mean, and would love to just stay inside all day. I, on the other hand, love to go out, meet new people, adventure, and do physical things in general. I'm not saying Jason doesn't like to do these things, he just would prefer not to and needs a little push to go out and do things. Does this maybe sound familiar to you? Yes? It's called introverted and extroverted people. ( I have permission to write this bout Jason )
We've covered 'time being annoying' and 'types of people', what else can I mention? Oh yeah, Today Jason and I eventually went out rollerskating. Our initial plan was to go around the park near our house and maybe around it again if it wasn't that far of a ride. We did about half of that and more, we went 3/4 the way around the park, following the bike path. Then we decided to go to china town when I recognized a road we took to go there on foot last time.
We thought at first to go get bubble tea there but Jason wanted something warmer, a hot drink. So we went down the long road that we know as china town, it's a big city. Then we arrived at the big Microsoft building, with a bookstore and cafe inside. It was the perfect place to skate, which was probably the reason why it was full of skaters there. But the cafe was very busy so we rode about two more block to a Starbucks not far from our house.
There we both go drinks, shared a double chocolate cookie and conversed while I read and Jason drew characters of their own and people passing by.
I really missed rollerskating and hope to have time to do it more often, especially to explore this big city a bit more.

Vampires and Excuses
I am not going to just say that life is hard, it is. It isn't just hard, i'ts many more things and good things at that.
Day 11, Time 19:14, Currently watching The Good Doctor.
I feel bad for not writing for more than a week but that doesn't mean I should say sorry, I definitely could, but that wouldn't fix anything. Of course, I could give you guys some excuses, which even if they are valid still don't do anything for you. But I am a human being and still will make excuses to make me feel even slightly better.
Ah yes, now it is Saturday so (yesterday) Friday we had Halloween day at school. Almost everyone dressed up, most of my class did, all of my friends did except one who didn't have the time to. In my friend group, we had two vampires, both Aisha and Luther, Aurora dressed up as a ripper-serial-killer and as of last, there were two people dressed up as characters from Death Note.
I think almost a week before Halloween day at school I decided to be Beetle juice/ Beetle Guece. Just that character in general, it was kind of gender-bent with what clothes I had available. In the show and musical Beetle Juice, he wears a suit that is striped black and white, with a white button-down shirt under it. I wore a short-panted, long-sleeved jumper that was also black and white striped, bright-dark purple tights, and a white button-down shirt.
Two days before the upper school had a Halloween day, the lower schools had two days of dressing up and playing Halloween games outside. A few of my friends and I helped out with the games for the lower school, which was really fun and nice. The day after, one of my friends helped out too and my sibling as well, they asked the people and parents there, who were holding a big bake sale, if they could have something. And I am very proud of them for asking, they actually got a really colorful chocolate cupcake and the others that helped out too.
I thought Today's blog would be too small, but surprisingly it is quite well sized. Now my week Holiday has started, Thursday my sibling and I go by train to Rome to hang out with friends in the city. That evening my father and little sister will arrive too, then we will spend the next days at my grandparents' house, which is about 1 hour from Rome. The Monday after we have Holiday too, so I think that day we go back home. My mom left for Greece Yesterday with her friends to have a girls-week.
I don't think I will be writing while in Rome because I won't be bringing my laptop, but I only leave Thursday. Until then I will try to write as much as possible.

Energetic Brain
Man do I love feeling energetic enough to do things during the day instead of constantly being tired and depressed, sorry that got a little personal.
Day 10, Time 21:11, Currently listening to Lovejoy's new album on YouTube.
Okay, I was a little worried this morning on my way to school because yesterday I forgot to bring painkillers and had a really bad back. Today I forgot to bring some to school but luckily my back was really not as bad as I expected.
I was so happy today, it was such a good day, I had a lot of fun and good talks with friends, in groups and personally. I enjoyed the time we had off from school, didn't have much homework, and had so much energy it was insane. Sometimes I have days where I really have a lot of energy and it makes me so happy that I have it to talk with people and do things efficiently during the day. At lunch and breaks I was so energetic I was running in place and jumping up and down. I don't think I have ever had so much energy that needed to come out before.
Luther and I had our Italian summative(a test that counts) today and it went pretty well for both of us. After the summative, we got to practice our Italian reading skills and then went home. Before we had Italian, Aurora, other friends and I went to art class, I almost always love art class. Today we handed in our collage(cut and glue) assignment and then talked about all types and forms of Art Performances.
Because it is a Thursday my class and I also had Personal Project class and found out who our project supervisor is going to be. The biology teacher is my supervisor, and I am the only student she needs to supervise. But of course, I have the biology teacher as my supervisor because I am going to make a friggin model of the human brain. I am so excited to update you guys more about that, I really enjoy the classes for this project we have and can't wait to start working on my project.
Actually let me look some stuff up about that real quick, about how energy works with the human brain. ''According to the principle outlined here, energy, along with forces and work, can be described as actualized differences of motion and tension.'' That's interesting, scientist don't really know much about the connection between energy and our brains but believe that it widely is connected with the actualized organization in the brain that is attached to motions and tension.
I really do not know much about this topic but am looking forward to learning more about it and getting better at understanding what scientists know about our brains work. See you tomorrow!

Movies and Cities
What to do in the weekends? Having fun with friends and recharging for the upcoming week.
Day 9, Time 19:55, currently listening to YouTube Study Music.
Last night my parents went out on a date to the movies and they watched the new movie Dune. They said it was a really good movie but very complicated and you had to pay good attention to details to understand everything. Mom said I should see it because I would like it, so I thought I would ask my friends what it is they would like to see, and if they would like to go to the movies together.
Tthe movie theater me and my friends went to last time is close to the Duomo, but the only movie playing there this Friday was the new Venom movie. I asked what they wanted to watch and Aurora first said Venom because she had no idea what Dune was, I said look it up because I knew she would like Dune more, then she texted me she changed her mind and said she definitely wanted to watch Dune.
The others said Venom but they haven't watched the first one yet, so I'm not quite sure what to do just yet. To watch Dune were gonna have to go to another movie theater, which is really not a problem because I normally do the planning and am pretty good at it. If our friend group goes out to the city, we always go out on Fridays or the Weekend due to school work and just to avoid school stress during the week.
If we go out on Fridays we bring a change of clothes to not destroy/ dirty the uniforms we wear to school and change in the bathroom stalls at school. When we go to the city center near my house we stop by to drop off our bags and maybe change clothes there instead of at school. Sometimes we just go out for a drink at Starbucks, we have one like 2 blocks from school, and sometimes we go out to the center and stay until around 18:00, where we get to by metro.
I will update you guys more about what will happen Friday and please enjoy your week, happy early Halloween!
