Finally forced myself to finish Siege and Storm

First I wanna say that I wonder who else will ask Alina to marry them now. My next guess is the Apparat at this point 💀 (please don't tell me if I am right)

The Darkling carved out his mother's eyes. THE DARKLING CARVED OUT HIS MOTHER'S EYES. ONCE MORE, THE DARKLING FANS, LET THAT SINK IN. FOR ME HE ABSOLUTELY HAS NO GOOD SIDE TO DEFEND ON NOW.

I like Nikolai but I'm still not so sure if he is trustable?? He is nice as person but he is a good actor like Alina said, he better not betray her, I feel like he also don't have any idea about what he can do or not when there is opportunity

Love Tolya and Tamar but the twist at the end? I'm just glad they are at least not so far gone in their beliefs?? They just looks like they will protect Alina no matter what and I appreciate that. Still a lot of "???" on them for sure, I will see

And at the end dumb Vasily thought he was making an excellent deal with Fjerda. SURPRISE SURPRISE HE OPENED THE WAY FOR THE DARKLING'S ARMY.

Poor Genya too. One more for the people the Darkling hurt. And dozen more for Grisha's and other people died at the slaughter he did with Nichevo'ya monsters.

Alina was really gonna end it all for everyone. Damn. The Darkling was so shocked I swear I could see his face while reading.

I don't trust Apparat too but he knows things. Alina needs his knowledge one way or another. Now we are dependent on a man who is far right politician but Ravka edition. Perfect.

Just finished first Grishaverse book and moved to the second one.

I respectfully wanna ask why people ships Alina and Darkling. like. WHY.

Darkling is manipulative old man who in my opinion doesn't even care about Alina. Or anyone else.

Maybe he did care once but it was long time ago and he forgot what he was even caring about. He is now just that one person wants all the power to themselves and thinks it will all become right that way and so he can bring world peace.
