Summary:

It feels like no surprise that the hidden jewel of Corona, Lady Rapunzel der Sonne, is indeed a Diamond.  Of course she is.  The rumors of her beauty were a tame sort of truth.  Her first debut at a party was a complete success.  It seemed her dance card was filled within minutes of her arrival.  It seems a good thing that Madame Gothel keeps her eye out for her, though perhaps she is a bit overbearing. And while, the lovely Ms. der Sonne, graced the Ton with her presence, the mysterious Prince Horace did not.  Or…perhaps he did, and we all simply don’t know it. I have it on good authority that the carriage bearing the crest of Elatha was in attendance, though it did not arrive at the front door. Perhaps, dear reader, if you were able to attend the illustrious party of the Baron of Vardaros, you spoke with the Prince and did not know.  Quite an exciting possibility. Either way, it is obvious that Ms. der Sonne definitely picked a wonderful time to make her debut. Perhaps she will find a match with the mysterious prince. AN: Heavily inspired by @tangledbea's Bridgerton AU. It took a bit for the inspo to really hit, but my mind ran with it. (Hopefully the link works, it's not working on AO3 at the moment I have no clue why). I tried to through some of my own twists but not sure how clear they are. I am really happy with how this came out, I hope you all enjoy.

I also love when you write about flower, look up the meaning for the flower and find it kind of perfect encompasses tone the relationship n the fic. Like good job me, I just picked this flower cause I thought it was pretty and grows on walls.

Holy crap, Part 2 of my forbidden love AU is so long. I have like two parts done, and I have like four more to write. It's just so long! And it feels like it taking me forever to write it, because I've just been writing like an hour a day (for the most part).

I want to get to the last part of it so bad. (All though the thrid part is another one I am looking forward to writing)

So didn't get to write as much as I wanted before Easter

I'm working a bit on my Pirate AU, and generally just kind of thinking about it, and I sort of realized there is no reason for Rapunzel’s hair to be cut in the "end".

Finished the first part of my New Dream Forbidden Love AU yesterday! I wouldn't be postinf anything until I get three parts done (I like a bit of buffer)

Omg! I absolutely love your pirate AU! Do u ever think you’ll continue it?

I would really like to complete that idea too. I do sort of two more parts I could write (probably more given that AU was supposed to be a one-shot itself, but was simply too long to write in a single day). Basically, it's the scene following Eugene learning about Rapunzel hair, and the "end" of the au (in like if we just think of the AU in the sense of Tangled the movie, in terms of the series...well no the ideas are starting to bubble away.)

I didn't receive any real feedback about that AU, so I wasn't sure how well it was received. So I was sort of like, well, that can be fun little for me to think about. I do really love that AU and would love to see it through as well.

Maybe I will alternate between Forbidden Love AU and Pirate AU to avoid burning out creatively on one.

Started writing the Forbidden Love AU for New Dream from my 30 Day Challenge. I'm starting form the beginning and plan to go through the whole idea (I'll probably change a few details here and there). Only just started writing it yesterday, but very happy with how it is going.

But I'm thinking of nicknames Eugene will call Rapunzel in the beginning (because there is no sundrop or moonstone in the AU). And just here is what I have come up with so far

Eugene grumbled to himself. He didn’t particularly like doing things with half a plan in mind. But there he was, sneaking into the palace throne room with barely half of an idea of plan.  Not ideal.

Part of me really wants to write like a full fic of the Forbidden Love!Au I did in my writing challenge. I sort of feel confident enough to try writing it, though I have no clue how good it would be.

But thinking about I realized like half of it is smut, and I haven't written explicit smut in like 12 years (don't ask me why, I just one day started alluding more to it, and time went by). And just...yeah...

Chapter 26: Magic - New Dream

Wounds don’t just magically heal. He has had more than enough of them to know that.

Chapter 27: Sick - Eugene + Cassandra

Eugene woke up feeling…not great. There was an ache and heaviness to his limbs.  A chill his body could seem to shake, though he could feel himself sweating.  The light pouring into his window was somehow too bright.  And all he wanted to do was roll back over and go to sleep. He knew he was sick.

Chapter 28: Whispers - New Dream

Rapunzel was used to whispers. In royal and noble circles they were generally unavoidable. People like to talk, and to be fair, Rapunzel often gave them things to talk about. From cutting her hair short one time, to her artist style in painting, to all the extra studies and activity.  Even about her close friendship with her handmaiden, Cassandra.  Some claimed she was more like her Aunt Willow than her mother. Either way, she was used to them.

Chapter 29: Games - New Dream

“Don’t play games.” Eugene said in slight warning. “I am not.”  Rapunzel assured innocently.

Chapter 30: Ring - New Dream

Rapunzel looked at the ring on her finger. Watching it glint in the moonlight that poured in through the window. Then Eugene laying beside her.

I have one prompt left, and I keep putting off starting in because I have been sleeping in. In my defense, it has been colder than normal, and my bed is comfy and warm. (I am also sleepy and looking forward to my week of PTO in two weeks)

(I also found a 100 day writing challenge, someone stop me I want to do so bad, only like five or so of the prompts on the list are the same as this one.)

Chapter 21: Coffee - Gen, Eugene + Varian, slight New Dream

“Varian,” Eugene started casually, he watched the teenager freeze at the sound of his name.  “If I ask you questions about your drink, am I going to like the answers?”  He asked simply as he leaned on the counter next to Varian. The teen blinked at him for a moment. Carefully lowering the cup he was drinking from. “Depends on the questions.”  Varian returned smartly.

Chapter 22: Sweet - Gen, Rapunzel POV

“I would like to bake a pie.”  Rapunzel said with a wide grin. The kitchen staff blinked at her. Looking like they weren’t sure they were believing they were hearing the words coming out of her mouth.  That their ears must be hearing wrong.  Or a little bit like they didn’t know what to do.  Standing there frozen looking at her.

Chapter 23: Hurt - New Dream

It all happened so fast. One moment everything was fine. In the next, they weren’t.

Eugene woke up with a start. Sitting bolt upright with a whisper of a gasp and panting breaths. He didn’t usually wake up like that.  

Chapter 25: Pets - New Dream + Roleswap!New Dream

“Hey, leave her frog alone!” The other him snapped at the crow in his hands. It had flown into Rapunzel’s room in a somewhat wild manner. Fluttering in and perching on top of Rapunzel’s mirror before sharply letting out caw. As if to alert everyone in the room to its presence. Before it spotted Pascal and decided to swoop for him.
