Nemo mumbles, their voice full of sleep as they rub their forehead as they blink in the dim light of the bedside lamp.

Shakily he reaches out and gently grabs Nemo’s face.

What do I do?

“Oh… Oh shit,” He swallows as he feels a thousand apologies get stuck in his throat as Nemo looks at him slightly bleary eyed. Their black wavy hair more chaotic as usual as the as their t-shirt hangs loose exposing their shoulder.

“Gerry?”

“I’m…” He swallows again and then those thousand apologies start to rush out, “I’m sorry, so so sorry,” 

Nemo raises an eyebrow, “It’s… I’m ok?” 

“You are?” Nemo makes a mumble that can be taken as a “yes,” and Gerry gently runs a thumb over Nemo’s freckled cheek and feels his heart skip a little as Nemo leans into the palm of his hand. 

And then he kisses them gently on the lips,

“Sorry,”

And then the tip of their nose,

“Sorry,” Nemo giggles. 

And then the forehead,

“Sorry,” And by that point he’s chuckling as well. 

“I’m the worst,” 

Nemo shakes their head and sleepily sighs and then Gerry feels Nemo gently brush his hair away from his forehead before he feels the soft press of their lips,

“No you’re not,” Nemo then presses a kiss to the tip of his nose, “Now go back to sleep,”

Since I can't go to Hugh and Mads's panel, I decided to write some fic.

The press always paints Hannibal Lecter as having some supernatural genius, and far be it from Hannibal to correct them. But the truth is much more mundane. He is simply much better at recognizing and storing opportunities. Covertly, like a raven, or even as brazenly as a shrike, Hannibal caches resources everywhere. If not too much has changed in the past several years, he's looking at one right now. Ignoring the pain and the dizziness brought on by blood loss, physical trauma, and stress chemicals, Hannibal drags Will along the beach beside him toward the light. -- After the fall, Hannibal and Will regroup at the home of someone who may be just as dangerous as Hannibal himself. Though he thought he'd be dead by now, Will instead has to negotiate two egocentric killers and finally sort out his feelings for Hannibal.

it's so upsetting when ppl complain about not having fics to read but refuse to read wips like ?? this isn't a book store this is a community... the authors are less likely to finish it if y'all only show their work love after it's done...

i know WIPs can be frustrating because they don't always update constantly or consistently. sometimes they get abandoned. sometimes they go on hiatus for long periods of time.

trust me, i get it. but the fanfic community and fanfic writers thrive on people supporting their works in progress. "there aren't any fics to read" - no there ARE, you're just not reading them.

ao3 isn't netflix. you very rarely get a finished product all in one go that's not a one shot. that defeats the purpose of being able to upload individual chapters at different times.

we as a society are too used to instant gratification and "binging." fanfic wasn't designed for that. if you want to "binge read," go buy a published book. if you want to participate in fandom, support writers who are putting their work out there for free without any compensation other than your love, support, and encouragement.

This is a comment someone appended to a photo of two men apparently having sex in a very fancy room, but it’s also kind of an amazing two-line poem? “His Wife has filled his house with chintz” is a really elegant and beautiful counterbalancing of h, f, and s sounds, and “chintz” is a perfect word choice here—sonically pleasing and good at evoking nouveau riche tackiness. And then “to keep it real I fuck him on the floor” collapses that whole mood with short percussive sounds—but it’s still a perfect iambic pentameter line, robust and a lovely obscene contrast with the chintz in the first line.
