So now he’s in Bruce’s bedroom, sitting on the bed and trying not to think about how this was once, unbelievably, improbably, their bedroom, their bed. One of the first things Batman ever taught Robin was how to keep a clear head in spite of great stress; to assess a situation and make the most sensible decision given your circumstances. Dick tries calling on all that Robin training now, but when Bruce sits down next to him on the bed and all that comes to mind is to climb in his lap and cry into his shoulder, he realizes the most sensible decision would’ve been to leave Alfred to deliver Bruce’s tea and focus on his Physics homework. “You should ask me.” The words come out rough, but his tone is sincere and Dick has to ball his hands into fists to keep from touching Bruce’s perfect face. “Ask you what?” Dick asks before he realizes he’s asking. “Hold on, wait–” “Anything you want.”

I think we can all agree that Dick Grayson would 100% swing on the chandelier during galas to impress people, but we're all sleeping on the OTHER TRICKS he could be doing!!

Here he is in Super Friends balancing on one leg of a chair during a gala:

He counts up to 1030 seconds (which is like 17 minutes) before Alfred comes in, gasps dramatically, and tells Dick to stop that. Which he does:

The funniest thing about this situation is that 1. Dick is in the kitchen doing this, he's not even doing this in front of people and 2. apparently this isn't an uncommon occurrence. Alfred tells Dick that he should be participating at the party and then Dick's like "no, I don't want to dance with Babs so I'm avoiding her by being in the kitchen and trying to break my chair balancing record."

I love attention seeking, chandelier swinging Dick as much as the next person but guys we need more anti-social, wack ass circus tricks in the kitchen Dick. Please give me Dick breaking his own records in the peace and quiet of the kitchen while he avoids the chaos.
