Connor had only been back a week. After the whole 'deviation' thing, it had taken a while to deal with the fallout. Ultimately, he had ended up back with his precinct. Really, it was the most obvious option. His previous physical ability, now coupled with human-like thought processes and emotion, occasionally made him an even more successful detective. Currently, the added emotion seemed to be doing more harm than good. Connor was staring at his screen, hands clasped and elbows in the desk, as the fact off the case kept streaming through his vision. He was almost certain the officers at the desks on the other side of the room would be able to hear how hard his processors were working to try and... well, process the information he was receiving.

Wendy is on the roof again. It's her break time so really she isn't slacking right now but still. Being up here just always gives her that tiny rush of maybe doing something she wasn't supposed to. Or maybe it's because she can't come to this place without thinking about the twins anymore. And when she thinks about the twins, she thinks about that summer and when she thinks about that summer... sometimes the memories are enough to get her blood pumping again. But nobody could probably tell here. She's on the roof. She's staring quietly at the sky. She's reminding herself that the sky is in fact blue.

Maybe the constellations were different from any other. Maybe the gravity was just light enough to be exciting without being constantly on his mind. Maybe it was the perfect little outcrop nobody else ever seemed to visit. Error had destroyed tens, maybe even hundreds, of outertale aus and yet never could erase this one. It wasn't the og outertale, it wasn't even one with very much deviation from the og. But it had been the very first outertale Error had ever gone to. The first time he'd ever seen the stars. So maybe, just maybe, the destroyer of universes was a bit more sentimental than he'd ever care to admit. He sits there now, silently. One leg dangles over the edge of the land, the other tucked up under himself, completely focused on the doll he has in his hands.

School for Logan was more of a place of sanctuary than dread. Well, cutting out all the bullying and idiot teachers, then it was. He always got there early, not long after the gates opened to let students hang around on the grounds. He wore smart black dress pants and a dark blue polo shirt. He dropped the tie after nearly being strangled once too many times (on purpose and by accident). Now, he waits as he does every morning, with a clear line of sight to the school gates and his nose in a book, for his friend should they show up.

To be perfectly honest, he had absolutely no fuckin' clue how he was still alive. Bill Cipher, formerly one of the most powerful dream demons this side of the cosmos, had originally been glad he died from this, removing the need to be embarrassed that he was defeated by a handful of human children. But no, he just had to wake up in a strange new body, staring at his old form turned to rock. Upon further inspection, it wasn't just a new body but a new human body. Well this was gonna be just dandy.

Janus just watches for a minute. "They don't deserve you Logan. That's why I had to steal you. Take you away from those who won't care for you how you should be, how I will."

Logan looked up in fear at Janus, the snake faces side had him under lock and key, literally speaking. Janus had the logical said bound by snakes. “Janus, what is the meaning of this” Logan asked struggling.

Asy hummed quietly to himself as he stared unblinkingly up at the sky. He could still hear the music from the party but it was a lot more quiet here. It seemed the aus hadn't learnt anything from the Christmas party and someone decided to create a house in the middle of the anti-void just for the purpose of letting it get trashed. Everyone in the multiverse who was reachable was invited, so of course Asy had. It took a little convincing but he did decide to come. It was... weird. He didn't quite fit in the crowd and it had been way too long since he just talked to someone. Someone who wasn't staff or Papy. It was just a lot and he got overwhelmed. He had tried retreating to one of the special 'quiet rooms' but it felt a little too much like his room at the asylum so he'd opened the window. Somehow, with his sleeves very much in his way and Papy trying his ghostly darndest to get him to go back, he'd clambered onto the roof. Now he was just staring at the artificial sky someone, probably outer or ink, had chucked up for the ambiance. It was nice to just... breathe.

Janus forcefully turns his head back. "You are Logan. The side who cares for the others and Thomas, insisting they get into good routines to keep themselves healthy. The side who gets adorably excited at the thought of crofters and Sherlock. The side who can solve a rubix cube in under a minute. The side I love. You. Are. Logan. And that is so much more than 'just logic'."

Should any of the other sides come down to the kitchen tonight, theey certainly would be concerned. Roman was sitting at the table, two blank notebooks on the table and one on the floor, repeatedly dropping his head onto the hard wood. He was in luck though. It was highly unlikely any other side would hear the repetative sound and even less likely that any of them would be awake at 3am because, really, who is? Roman, apparently. Honestly, when he stated five minutes ago, it seemed like a good way to jog some ideas into his head. Now, he just had a headache.
