I'm pretty sure Lio's even a clone of his 'dad' and Song's the same. So there had to be some genetic manipulation somewhere down the line.

And ya I also don't doubt they had the means to make, if not just straight up, lots of HRT medications and stuff in the science bunker

is Kipo even genetically related to her dad? It’s already (implied?) canon that she was conceived through artificial insemination. It would explain why she looks essentially like a pink clone of her mother.

Okay I see y’all’s angst with the cured mutes but I raise you this, once their friends are settled and get use to it, it’s let just having an overly stubborn and vocal pet with some memories and quirks.

I don't know about you guys, but the second wave of covid is hitting hard in my location...

One of the big factory companies in my town had over 60 workers test positive and now ALL the workers as well as anyone who has been in contact with ANY of them are quarantined, not just the factory though multiple schools have had students/staff test positive and anyone in contact with them is also quarantined.

So most people in my area are quarantined.....

I'm not, but it has me worried.

One kataow thought I have is if they didn't cure song they could of taught her some remnants of sign language to communicate with her

Oh definitely! Sign language would’ve been so helpful to know and teach Song.

We were actually talking about ASL in the server a while back and how it didn’t make sense that no one seemed to know it back in the science burrow. In our times we know primates can learn and communicate with sign so it was weird that no one thought to teach Hugo that as a way of measuring intelligence. There definitely was no reason for sign to die out, so it seemed like an overlook from production.
