I spend more time writing fanfic than original stuff.
Mostly fandom (Roswell New Mexico, Stranger Things, Les Mis, ATLA, and assorted others), occasionally more.
If you'd like to buy me a cup of coffee (or more realistically, tea), I'd be super grateful!

this is purely for fun and I've certainly been guilty of a few of these things myself in my years of fic writing. don't be weird in the notes and don't use this as an excuse to insult someone's writing.
I got my lobes pierced when I was 12, so elementary school. I added more over the years when I was in high school and then took those out, but got my conch pierced when I was 27. So I have my lobes and conch currently.
Okay listen I have another disability related thing that’s important!!
If you have any disabilities linked to tooth decay/erosion, through direct cause or secondary symptom, it is vital that you get one or both of the following items: Sensodyne toothpaste and enamel repair mouthwash
This includes health conditions such as acid reflux, diabetes, thyroid conditions, fibromyalgia, chronic pain & mental illnesses such as depression that create poor hygiene routines, sensory issue disorders like autism and ADHD, and any health condition that causes frequent vomiting / increased stomach acid, including eating disorders and migraines.
All of these disabilities will erode the enamel of your teeth, not only opening you up to cavities but making it very easy to chip your teeth from such simple things as biting the wrong way on the tines of a fork. (I’ve chipped my teeth at least 4 times this way).
The toothpaste on the left here (sensodyne pronamel) is gentle on your teeth, won’t cause painful sensations from any extreme mint flavor, and will even protect your gums if they’re sensitive from any of these conditions.
The mouthwash on the right (Crest enamel repair) will, as it says, repair your enamel — which is marvelous, because the technology to repair your enamel at all is relatively very new to society! — but it is most importantly non-alcoholic. Meaning that it works well as a once-a-day rinse without any of the burning sensations of antiseptics that typically discourage people with sensory issues from taking care of their teeth.
I know remembering to do these things every day can feel like a lot when you’re sick and exhausted, but I promise a collective three minutes out of every day is going to save you an incredible amount of pain and money in the future. If your teeth are susceptible enough to rot, you can actually die from infection. And as they say, with how little insurance actually covers dental —
thinking today about how much weight airk lost when he was kidnapped, how lili tried again and again to corrupt him and only succeeded when he came back from the desert again, not even able to walk any longer, clearly on the edge of death.
i'll fight anyone who says airk gave in too easy. he fought every step of the way.
I already had the pants that I made a couple years ago (interestingly for another wedding) so I decided to level up and add welt pockets to a vest.
Had a family wedding to attend and wanted to look my dapper best. I purchased a couple of bolts of this brushed cotton herringbone with the intention of making a three piece suit out of it.
Did a test run on scrap, cut out my pattern, sewed in my darts, and added the first pocket. Isn't it beautiful?
Reader, she should have stopped there.
I added the pocket to the other side, placing it the same distance from the top of the dart, not the bottom of the vest.
Grievous error that I didn't notice until I put it on after buttons, buttonholes, and topstitching. The pockets don't line up.
Curses.
So I did what any sane and normal person who is most certainly not under a deadline or anything and obsessed about it for a day before making a whole new vest, this one with one waist pocket and one chest pocket.
Final look, complete with pocket watch and purchased jacket (because I'm still trying to fit a jacket pattern).
They should invent classical music with titles that are easy to remember. Why does it have to be like concerto number 27 in E minor I want to know if it's the one that blasts my dick off or not
I just heard my mom tell my brother, “when you die, you will go outside and garden until your father says you’re done” and it took me a second to realize that my brother was playing a videogame and this was not a theological discussion.
So I've been learning French for a while and 'faire' is actually an incredible word. Like what a fucking breakthrough in economy of language.
Faire is a verb that is usually translated into English as "to do/to make," but it covers way more actions than that, which is very confusing for new speakers. because (I have realized) that's not really what faire means.
Faire is actually a word that just gestures vaguely in the direction of the object of the sentence and goes "you know." "Je fais du velo." "Je fais du courses." "Je fais mes valises." I'm biking. I go grocery shopping. I'm packing my bags. You're just sort of pointing at a bike and going "you know, the obvious thing you'd do with it."
English: "You mean RIDE it??"
French: "Sure whatever."
Like idk I just really enjoy the concept of a catch-all verb that you can just slap onto almost anything because who fucking gives a shit, you get the idea. There's a bike. what do you think I'm going to do with it.
